Who Owns XTV?

We acquired 39.5% of the common stock of Penthouse Media Group for $16.375 million in cash, and have guaranteed the payment of an additional $2.0 million to the majority stockholders of Penthouse Media Group by December 31, 2004. If we or other affiliates of PHSL are unable to make such payment on a timely basis, we could lose approximately 12.2% of our current equity investment in Penthouse Media Groupunder an option granted to the majority stockholders. If such option is exercised by reason of a default in such $2.0 million payment, our ownership interest in the capital stock of Penthouse Media Group will decrease to approximately 34.5%. In addition, in order to produce and deliver the XTV boxes, obtain additional video and other adult entertainment content, build the software, server system and related technology and personnel infrastructure for our proposed XTV and Nexcend businesses, we anticipate that we will require approximately $5.0 million of additional capital over the next 12 months. There can be no assurance that we or will be able to raise the necessary financing on a timely basis; failing which the business development of our proposed XTV and Nexcend subsidiaries would be materially and adversely affected.

I would rate them:
#1 Spearmint Rhino- since the remodel, they are massive and are always pretty busy there.
#2 Crazy Horse 2- nice tail, but the girls are always trying to push the vip to tag you for pricier dances and the drinks in the vip are an arm and a leg so be prepared.

"In the beginning, I was like -- I'm in porn to make money. That's it. No pleasure. I didn't really want to be in it.
"I have found ways to make porn more enjoyable. Not just sexually, but mentally. Being nasty on camera is exciting. It's an adrenalin rush. I'll sit back after a scene and say, I did that? God! I'm crazy. I'm using porn as an outlet to be a rebel, to be the bad girl I never really was."
Duke: "Do you save your money?"
Kelly: "I save some of it. I spend some of it. I'm set financially."
Kelly wants to work behind the camera.
Duke: "Would you rather date someone inside or outside of the industry?"
Kelly: "Outside. I think 98% of the guys in the industry, even in a relationship, think with their dicks. Off-camera, I like to be serious. I like commitment. I don't want somebody that just wants to f--- all the time. That's what I do on camera. I'd rather deal with somebody outside the business because then I don't have to deal with the, let's f--- all the time bulls---."
Duke: "Has working in the sex industry changed you?"
Kelly: "Not morally. I'm making money at what I do. I'm not a slut or a ho. Yeah, maybe I'm a whore because I f--- for money, but this is what I do for a living. I'm a businesswoman. It has changed me as a businessperson and as an individual because I learn something new every day about people and how to do good business. If I would say that I've changed morally, that would affect my personal life."
Duke: "So it hasn't affected your personal life?"
Kelly: "No."
Duke: "Was it a big hurdle to do interracial?"
Kelly: "No. I am not a racist. I am very open-minded."
Duke: "Would you say you had a happy childhood?"
Kelly: "No."
Duke: "Do you think that if you had had a happy childhood, you would have ever done porn?"
Kelly: "If I had had a happy childhood, that would've meant my parents were rich and I would get to milk them for the rest of my life and not have to work. So definitely if I had had a good childhood, I wouldn't be in porn."
Duke: "How do you use your power over men?"

Duke: "What do you do when you are not working in porn?"
Kelly: "I sleep. I write. I listen to music. I like to kick back. I'm a lazy person."
Duke: "What do you like to write about?"
Kelly: "I write quotes about life -- new things I learn every day. I write my own quotes. I've got a couple of hundred of them. For example, if you turn your head for one moment, you might miss what you waited a whole lifetime to see. Or, sometimes I write metaphors. Like, when the core of an apple is rotten, so is the seed. That's not just relevant to apples but it is relevant to people."
Duke: "Do you like to read?"
Kelly: "Yeah, but I have an attention-deficit. I can not sit still for long. I write mostly. I get bored easy."

"I read on the Zodiac and on horoscopes. Anything to keep my interest in newspapers. I'm not really an interesting person to be honest with you. I don't do a lot with my spare time.

"No. They're such kids. I remember when they were 11 and fat and insecure. Now they're 16 and can drive and they think they're cool. I live by a high school, so they holler at me when I walk to the gym. They don't know I'm in porn.

Burt: "Penthouse provides us with beautiful women. We find great locations. We are never in a hurry to light it. We use great make-up. We have a wardrobe stylist.
"We don't pay them like stars so we treat them like stars. We have limo companies who often pick up the girls for free.
"I never allow the crew to ask the girls for phone numbers. If they do, they're fired.
"The only time in 400 scenes that I talked a girl into doing this was in Arizona. When it got to the nude scene, she said, I can't do this."
Jamie Lynn says she doesn't mind fingers and toys going inside of her during a scene or photo shoot, but "no eating."
Jamie has signed a modeling contract with Lamborghini but she drives a regular American car so she won't worry about it.
Hank Londoner and his wife Susie shot her for Penthouse's January issue. Susie Londoner is her favorite nude photographer. "She gave me many compliments before the shoot and you can see the confidence that gave me in my eyes in her pictures."
Jamie says her great grandmother just died at 105. Jamie does not want to live past 75.
Rob Spallone walks up to Jamie and says, "Everything you say to him will be on the Internet."

"I kept developing. I found my figure [in tenth grade]."
She's smoked (about half a pack a day of Camels Filters at present) since she was 17. "It's time for me to smoke."
Luke: "When you were a little kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?"
Jamie: "I wanted to be a mommy. Then I wanted to be a psychiatrist. Then I realized how many problems everybody has and I didn't want to listen to them. Then I wanted to be a lawyer."
Luke: "When did you lose your virginity?"
Jamie: "I'm not going to get into it. I hate those questions. I hate: What's your favorite fantasy. That's crap. Like I'm really going to tell you."
Jamie's the first nude model or porn star who hasn't answered that question.
Luke: "What do you love and hate about nude modeling?"

My web site is probably not the place for polemics on the modern state of American Judaism but let me say that if you ever want to turn a Jew off to institutional Judaism, make them do a JCC tour of America and see what happens. The closed-mindedness, conservatism, isolationism, elitism, xenophobia, and plain old rudeness are so endemic in this community I can see why so few Jewish people these days, especially young ones, are involved with Jewish life. And it is a shame because cultural, non-sectarian institutions like JCCs, which were founded to be open to everyone, should be the most welcoming of all. And yet very few are.
As I was saying to a friend of mine the other day, it is not the "Jew" part I have trouble with, but the "ism." American Judaism needs to find a way to be more welcoming, not less, but sadly it seems that in many of these communities those who speak the loudest are those who are most observant and also most closed-minded, and they spread a kind of negative elitism regarding which kind of Jew is better, and how non-Jews should be treated, that poisons the institutions as a whole.
The Man from Cal-OSHA
But the chat that kicked off the day was mine with David Pies. Pies is the chief litigator for Cal-OSHA and probably for want of a better way of describing it, will be the new porn Czar.
