Since doubling my bupropion (Wellbutrin) to 150 mg a day, I’m increasingly angry and impatient.

When I arrive to the Erotic Film Festival Saturday at 9:15 p.m., I go to the red carpet and run into publicist Dusty Marie. She says I need to register at the booth.

I go into full-on prima donna mode. "Can’t you give me a pass?"

"No. You have to go over and pick one up."

I groan and walk over. I’m not on the list.

"Don’t you know who I am?" I want to snap.

Dusty is called over. She approves me.

"You need to email me to RSVP so you’ll be on the list," she says.

I pull out my big gun. "Alec [Helmy, owner of XBiz] emailed me to come."

"You need to RSVP."

I sulk back to the red carpet and push myself to the front.

I don’t know what’s going on. I don’t see a program. The website is not clear. For instance, it says there’s a vixens panel at 3 p.m. Sunday but I can find no further details.

I don’t recognize much of the crowd.

I interview French woman Angel (video) who directed a documentary on the "cinema of transgression."

One minute and 25 seconds in, Holly walks by and bumps me.

"Ex-girlfriend," I say, nodding at Holly.

Angel: "Hi ex-girlfriend."

She worked on her documentary for the past five years. "There’s nothing nostalgic about it."

Joanna Angel walks by and waves.

Angel: "Ex-girlfriend too?"

Luke: "No. Not that one."

Angel was 14 when she discovered Nick Zedd‘s films.

Luke: "What surprised you?"

Angel: "None of them told me what I was expecting. I was thinking it was really intellectual and really strategic. Really it was young people doing it without too much strategy."

Nick: "I had a strategy to overcome the censorship of omission when the journalists wouldn’t pay attention."

After a few minutes, I cut the interview short and amble over to Holly.

Then I’m back to work, talking to Page Morgan (18 months in porn) and Dana DeArmond (42 months though "the first part was stealth"). Video

When I press Page, 19, to name something she hates about porn, she says, "I hate some creepy fans. I don’t like creepy people writing me on the internet. They ask certain things. Please don’t do that if you are a certain person."

Page got into porn shortly after turning 18. "I wish I would’ve waited longer."

"I’m a little bit crazy sometimes."

She dropped out of high school in her junior. "I was never there. I was out partying… I have my GED though. I am going to college."

"High school is everybody’s worst time of their life. I didn’t see a point in finishing it."

Luke: "Why did you get into porn?"

Tori, who has a pierced tongue: "Because I like to have fun, I love money, and you get to meet a lot of great people."

She did her first scene at the end of June and has done about 20 since.

When I ask her for things she doesn’t like about porn, she says, "I don’t like getting sore and you come across some creepy people."

Her best friends "would probably describe me as crazy. I’m a little bit geeky… I am very outgoing. Wild. Spontaneous."

Luke: "What was your reputation in high school?"

Tori: "Party girl. I was the one doing things first. I was the one corrupting my friends."

As a kid, she wanted to grow up to be an actress.

Luke: "What do you love and hate about your life now?"

Tori: "I love that I get to travel. That I’m independent. That I’m making a name for myself. I don’t love that a lot of people are judgmental. I don’t love that there are a lot of dramatic things going on in this business. I like that I get to be proud of the work I’m doing."

Susan Block looks like she’s recovered from her recent long illness.

Holly Randall posts on XPT: "Tori is cute — I met her there and I’m going to have her come in for polaroids. I have to admit I was fearful of another meeting with the Camera of Death, especially since it had been so long since I’d been subject to it’s wrath. And of course it took some god-awful photos of me, and I no longer have the leverage with Luke to get him to delete the bad ones. There’s one shot in particular where I look like Katie Couric. Now if that doesn’t make you feel old, nothing will."
