GoAskAlex is looking out for her fellow adult performers with one vital suggestion to consider before the cameras start rolling: filling out an official Emergency Contact Form.
This simple-yet-crucial on-set provision – Alex calls hers ‘S’workerz Emergency Contacts’ – should provide pertinent questions for creators to answer that cover any situation: contact info and instructions in the event of an illness, panic attack, arrest or inebriation, as well as pet placement info, legal name, date of birth, medication requirements/allergies, blood type and personal requests for removal of any sensitive items from the home in the event of incapacitation or death.
“Recently a colleague and I encountered an emergency, and I realized that we didn’t actually know each other’s full legal names, birthdates… anything, really,” said Alex. “As a result of this, I’ve put together a detailed Emergency Contact Sheet for all of my local colleagues to fill out. This way if the unthinkable were to happen and we needed to provide details to a medical professional or family member, we could do so more easily.
“I think this is a great knowledge sharing opportunity in the adult industry for independent models and content creators. I assume when studio performers are on set, the director has all of their personal contacts, but for those of us who work from home and network with local colleagues, this information is often overlooked and it’s important to know these things.”
