Hall of Fame porn shooter and pork vendor extraordinaire Tim von Swine has added a pair of AVN Awards nominations to his successful 2019. Earlier this year, his pro-am lines Pork Vendors and Plush Pockets expanded their reach by adding HotMovies.com as a distribution source. Since then, both lines have been garnering attention from fans and praise from critics. The two AVN Award nominations are icing on the cake.
Plush Pockets, Swiney’s hard-core gonzo line featuring the hottest BBW performers at their filthy finest, was nominated in the Best Niche Series or Chanel category. It is the first nomination in this category for this or any of Von Swine’s Pro-Am lines.
“I am really proud of the work we have done on Plush Pockets,” says Von Swine. “Turning top BBW talent loose and allowing them to be themselves makes this series unique. We don’t follow trends or try to make cookie cutter content like so many others. To have it named as one of the top niche lines is very rewarding.”
Swiney landed a second AVN Awards nomination. This time for himself in the Niche Performer of the Year category. After years as a mostly unseen, POV pork provider, this is a unique honor for a male performer in a category dominated by female performers.
“I have been shooting porn for nearly two decades,” says von Swine. “I have been recognized for my work behind the camera, and for some of the POV scenes I have shot, but this nomination for my body of work as a performer is special. The last time I was recognized as a performer it was for Unsung Male Performer. Looks like I am not so unsung now. I guess this is proof that the industry is now looking at bods of all shapes and sizes and recognizing big-bodied performers for what they can bring to the table.
Elected to the AVN Hall of Fame in 2015, Von Swine has been nominated a number of times for his work as a POV shooter and performer. These nominations are the first for work that belongs entirely to his own brand.
“I have been blessed throughout my career to work with some amazing people,” adds Swiney. “From Vince Vouyer and Red Light District to Shane’s World and of course my long term working relationship with Mike John. These nominations are special because this is for smut that has my name on it. It’s my vision, it is reaching people and they are digging it. I couldn’t be happier.”
