Brown haired beauty Karla Lane is winding down an exciting 2018. And all her hard work has paid off with two nominations for the 2018 XCritic Awards. The awards are decided by the reviewers of the popular review site, and the awards will kick off award season with winners being announced on January 1st, 2019.
Karla is one of the top BBW performers in the industry, so it should come as no surprise that she received a nomination for Best BBW Performer. Aside from her body of work, the industry and fans have fallen in love with Karla and her body positive attitude.
Karla also picked up a nomination for Best Supporting Actress for her role in Pure Taboo’s “The Weight of Infidelity.” Acting alongside two of the top performers in the industry, Karla proved she can hold her own and wowed fans and industry alike with her gutsy performance.
“Nomination season has just started and I already have two! Supporting Actress is the ‘big one’ for me right now, since it’s one of first times a BBW has been nominated for more than just our size,” remarked Karla. “BBW performer nominations are my bread-and-butter. I appreciate being recognized by the reviewers of our work.” She continued, “I’ve been doing this for almost 14 years and every time I think I know where my career is going, I still can surprise myself. In fact, I just directed my first three movies this year and I participated in new ground breaking projects. And I have so much more up my sleeve!”
