Fellow industry professionals – yesterday 10 performers in Budapest
tested positive for syphilis, today a further 6 = 16 as I write this. All
performers are going to our 2 clinics here today and tomorrow to have
a new "full test" (HIV, Syph/Gonr/Hepatitis) + an extra more complex
test for syphilis. As of today all Talent have stopped work until a new
bout of tests on the 21st, after which, if things are improving, all
performers will be required to be be tested weekly until further notice.
Jim Slip and others can confirm that we take tests very seriously in
Budapest and have good clinics.
Rumours abound – it was caused by swingers, czechs, russians….It
doers not matter. We live in a real world.
However, I strongly advise all British performers who might have worked
with Hungarian & Czech talent in the past 3 weeks to have a fresh test
for syphilis. Producers planning to come here would be advised to give
it 3-6 weeks and I will keep bgafd updated.
Besides penicillin, doxycycline is used as alternative therapy for syphilis infection. People might have some of that lying around for other infections that come and go among hoes.
Also, tetracycline (for patients who are allergic to penicillin). Length of treatment depends on how severe the syphilis is, and factors such as the patient’s overall health.
Any pregnant hookers should be warned:
For treating syphilis during pregnancy, penicillin is the drug of choice. Tetracycline cannot be used because it is dangerous to the unborn baby. Erythromycin may not prevent congenital syphilis in the baby. People who are allergic to penicillin should ideally be desensitized to it, and then treated with penicillin.
Too bad, btw, the AIDS mafia pushes drugs on “HIV+” mothers which cause stillbirths and severe birth defects… anyway…
Several hours after getting treatment for the early stages of syphilis, people may experience Jarish-Herxheimer reaction. This is caused by an immune reaction to the breakdown products of the infection.
Additionally, “side” effects of treatment for syphilis can include snifflis (cold, fever, etc).
How about those poor “johns” and their wives that have it after hubby comes home with the shit.
