PoZ Results We didn’t hear about…

Because it is so early in the morning in LA, I can’t get the people I need for confirmations in order to talk about an email I received. So I am going to send you over to another site, that has the e-mail posted. I have seen & read this email also. As to what it means? I’m hoping someone more knowledgeble than I can explain…

Perhaps he’s talking about the original test that got the positive/”reactive” result, not the more recent testing done by APHSS that got the negative result.

Also, isn’t APHSS doing followup testing of that individual to verify the results?? If so, then all this is either way too premature…or I smell more AHF propaganda to confuse the issue.

And…the blogger did note that he favors the condom mandate. BIG RED FLAG THERE.

  2. Michael Whiteacre says:

I went back and forth with Michael about this earlier today, and he admits that this whole ELISA nonsense is double hearsay, at least (he heard it from someone who claims to have heard it from the owner of Talent Testing Services).

FSC has not announced the details of the test, and I have not seen the results, or what kind of test it was, but there is NO WAY in hell any lab would rely on an ELISA antibody-based test in the event of a new/acute infection.

Here we have an adult performer, who tests monthly, and suddenly the patient tests positive. That means one of two things:

    1) the patient is newly infected; or
    2) the test is in error.

NO ONE would test a new case with a ELISA and call it definitive. That’s not in the APHSS protocols, and it wasn’t in the AIM protocols. I would bet dollars to doughnuts that it was NOT an ELISA test.

The MUCH LARGER question here would be IS THE OWNER OF TALENT TESTING SERVICES BREACHING THE MEDICAL PRIVACY RIGHTS OF HIS PATIENTS?

If he is, as rumored, blabbing about specific test results and the number of tests, then Patient Alpha, and others, would have a VERY serious medical privacy claim against TTS. Have we not learned from the lawsuits against AIM? Is anyone comfortable with this report?

Think this through logically, and perhaps we can deduce what happened. Here’s what we know:

Patient Alpha tests positive outside the APHSS system.

Then, somehow, for some reason, APHSS takes over the testing of Patient Alpha.

Talent Testing is NOT affiliated (and reportedly REFUSED to be affiliated) with FSC. TTS wanted that business all for itself.

In order for FSC to step in, Patient Alpha would have had to sign a waiver or set of waivers.

Why would Patient Alpha do that if the Patient was happy with the service received getting at a non-APHSS lab?

Would TTS be HAPPY to see Patient Alpha turn to ASPHSS?

The second big question is: WHAY DID TTS SUDDENLY ANNOUNCE THAT IT WOULD BE CLOSED THIS WEEKEND? It announced its “new hours” at the very last minute.

    https://www.talenttestingservice.com/news.asp

What are they doing behind closed doors?

Why would a major testing lab close its doors o the middle of a run on testing centers — during a HIV scare where performers are practically running to get re-tested?

What could be so important that they’d be willing to turn away that kind of business and forsake the clients who trust them with their health — driving them into the arms of the competition?

@Anthony – Yes, APHS has announced it will be doing follow-up testing with the individual after some time has elapsed.

And, NO, TTS is not part of APHSS, so the three alleged positive test results from TTS CANNOT be part of FSC’s re-testing of Patient Alpha. This fact leads me to believe that if Patient Alpha HAD BEEN testing at TTS (as rumored), for some reason not yet known, abandoned TTS and ran to the arms of APHSS.

At the very least the talent mentioned should be quarantined for six months and the others in the chain shouldnt work until more tests come back on themselves, problem is who decides who is safe to work and when, at least with AIM they had a protocol. Weinstein has become and enabler for crossovers, thanks jackass.

  4. jeremysteele11 says:

There’s a new place I and other talent are testing at now where the rate is still $110.00 for HIV/PCR & g/c and the results are guaranteed the next day (apparently the lab is on the same premises) instead up upward to 4 days with TTS (as they send their blood to Florida). You have to make an appointment for weekends, although they allowed me to come in the last moment on Saturday. They have you fill out a lot of paper work the first time, so it looks like they’ve got their asses covered and are following proper procedures. Their number is 818 988 3188.

  5. Michael Whiteacre says:

@Larry – Patient Alpha is NOT in the active talent pool, and all the first and second generation contacts ARE being tested.

Speaking of Weinstein, he has taken his predictable track:

Weinstein said that although he is “glad” to hear about the performer’s negative results, he takes issue with a health screening process that does not include public health officials.

“Subsequent tests showed the person to be negative, but in terms of validating how all of this was being handled, we still don’t really know,” Weinstein said.

“We don’t know how they validated it,” he said. “It’s like if you were dealing with mine safety or construction or food contamination, and we would have to be satisfied with what the company involved is telling us about it. The whole scare around this and the confusion that it’s generated just reinforce that relying on testing to protect the performers is wrong.”

There’s the reason Weinstein mentioned TTS favorably the other day on his teleconference — he LIKES the fact that they send patents directly to the county for medical follow-up.

And he has a lot of nerve talking about “The whole scare around this and the confusion that it’s generated” when it was HE who irresponsibly called a press conference and went on Nightline specifically for the purpose of scaring people into buying his self-serving agenda.

Finally, as I wrote here on LIB over the last few days, Michael “Rapid Test” Weinstein places no faith in testing because he is, in actuality, one if the biggest drug dealers on the planet. To him the only purpose of testing is to identify as quickly as possible as many potential AHF pharmacy clients as they can, so that AHF can sell them costly AIDS drugs.

To AHF, a positive HIV diagnosis is really just phase one of marketing: identify the consumer.

  6. jeremysteele11 says:

Isn’t it true Michael, that “risk factors” (sexual proclivity and behavior) are used to determine whether a person who tests is HIV+ or not?

  7. Michael Whiteacre says:

You’re speaking of the presumptive nature of much of HIV testing? Yes.

  8. Anthony Kennerson says:

Well…shouldn’t it be that public health officials should not be involved until a positive HIV test is confirmed with some verification?? Otherwise, every negative HIV test would have to be verified as well. Shouldn’t the presumption be that someone is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law?? Or…negative unless verified as positive, in this case??

Also…if Florida is like California, don’t they have to inform the public officials anyway if a performer is verified as having tested HIV+?? If so, then Weinstein’s talking out of his ass as usual.

And he’s the one who’s pushing the scare tactics to push for the condom mandate, not anyone else.

    Anthony

  9. Michael Whiteacre says:

Public health officials ARE involved. In FLORIDA where all this (reportedly) happened. Yes, Anthony, clinics are required by law to inform the county and perform the so-called “confirmatory” testing required by law.

This is just an oblique way for Weinstein to perpetuate his libel that FSC is not cooperating with an LA County investigation that does not exist.

  10. jeremysteele11 says:

The presumptive nature of much of HIV testing? Which tests are not presumptive? So, if a gay guy goes in to test and lies and says he’s straight the same test which might delcare him “positive” might declare him clean if he’s hetero?

  11. Michael Whiteacre says:

The context might be presumptive, but a lab worker reading bands on a test isn’t making any presumption — he/she is looking at the data. What to make of that data, is the question.

The choice of what test to use, as well as who to test, may be presumptive, but the reading of data itself is not. (Although, of course, medical personnel might “interpret” data one way or another depending on presumptive “risk factors”.)

Now, the issue of whether the data that is being read actually MEANS what they claim it means is another story, since even the manufacturers concede that EVERY test should be followed up with more testing. In that paradigm, no test or series of tests can ever be 100% definitive.

I think it’s more accurate to say that the testing paradigm is presumptive.

  12. jeremysteele11 says:

I presume it’s wrong to presume anything unless it’s towards innocence in the absence of proof of guilt.

  13. You know Jeremy, Tucker Slain is 100% positive that it’s totally OK to shoot again according to my interview with him. Ya’ll should do a B/B/G scene together for your man Ryder’s company – I think he just was cast in Beverly Hillbilly’s so you’re in the same camp and considering how you feel about the truth about HIV you have NOTHING to worry about. He’s totally in the clear.

In fact – I think it would be really hot if you and Tucker did an ultimate fighting MMA style type shoot sometime soon. I recall you wanting to do that before. I think the company that primarily shoots that (or at least the series name) is “Battle Bang” – the winner gets to fuck the pretty girl and the loser the ugly girl.

I’d suggest you get Lucky in on that shoot – regardless of how she’s cast Jeremy, you should be OK with who you wind up fucking.

  14. RickMadrid says:

Hell for now check those test and If I were you for a awhile, put on a condom for awhile until this all surpasses. I’m hearing there is way too many crossovers and girls escorting and another OUTBREAK is on the way!! Be ready FSC! it’s a cumming!!!
