Ashley Blue’s Tell All ROCKS! Pics & Exclusive Interview

First of all, doesn’t Ash look gorgeous? I always knew she had many talents, one being her well shown ability to be a "mean girl" in her "Girlvert series and in several episodes of The "Violation of"  (one of my favorites collections of all time, I have quite a few of them, most on VIDEO TAPE!) But now we are finding out that Ashley is also very talented in the creative field, drawing & writing in particular. She recently published a book called Girlvert: A Porno Memoir  that was so good I read the whole thing in one weekend. It was well done, so interesting and she left out NONE of the dirty details. The one thing she did do was change a few of the names to protect the definitely not innocent. I’d even say to protect herself from those more apt to sue her (for telling the truth?) but I could recognise who she was talking about in most cases. This book is so worth the read. Lots of sex. Lots of drugs. And full of truth, no matter how brutal. I’d give it a 9 out of 10.  I asked questions about her new book in our exclusive interview…

First the obvious question, why did you decide to write a book?
I decided to write the book because I have a lot of crazy stories that needed to be shared.  I didn’t want them to go unnoticed or be forgotten.  That would have been criminal.

What is your favorite part of the book?
My favorite part of the book is the humor.  It’s dark. I like to laugh at fucked up things, and in this case, that fucked up thing is me. There are subtle details that describe my wasted, early twenties mind. I was a total mess, and it’s so funny!

What was the hardest part for you to write?
The entire book was hard to write about.  It is deeply personal and reveals everything.  I was completely and brutally honest.

What opinions of the book have you heard from people that  you talked about in it?
There aren’t  many main characters in my story.  Most of my old friends have given me positive feedback on their depictions. There are others who I am not in touch with at all.  It’s only been out for a couple of months, so I think there will be more.

Where you worried about anyone in particular’s reaction to being included?
I don’t want to hurt anyone and I do worry that some of this book will.  But I can’t censor my life and work because I’m waiting to get a reaction.  It feels just like the nervousness I experienced first getting into porn.  My family will be pissed, ex-lovers find out, school acquaintances, etc.  This book is not a list of my accomplishments.  It is a raw account of my drug use, love life and fucking up.  The only thing that makes it all ok is that I turned out fine.  There is a happy ending.  But it’s scary to put all this out on display, especially for people that already know me.  Except this time it’s not a picture of my asshole, it’s the inside of my mind.

You talk about how when you were a contract girl for JM, you were a real trouble maker, do you regret any of your actions then?  Do you have  a relationship with any of the people from those days?
Not very much has changed with me and JM.  We still have a really solid relationship, which has withstood the test of time.

How is married life treating you? How have you changed for the better since becoming Ms Dave Naz?
Being married to Dave has changed my personality so much for the better.  He is the best influence on me and I couldn’t wish for a better husband.  If we never had met, who knows what kind of awful creep I’d have turned out to be?

Will there be a book #2?
My second book is in the works already.  I’m writing it now.
