Papillion, Fact? or Fiction?

I watched this for the first time ever tonight. When it was originally released, it was advertised as a true story, later debunked by several sources. What do you think? Good movie. I did see a little bit of Rain Man in Hoffman’s portrayal of Dega

I haven’t seen it in many years but coincidentally bought a Steve McQueen 4 in 1 movie pack recently from Target for $10.00, which I haven’t watched yet, including Bullitt, The Getaway, Cincinnati Kid and Papillon. And, speaking of Papillon, does anyone know what happened to her? You know the girl with the butterfly tattoo above her hoo-ha? Last I spoke with her she said she was dying of something. I met Dustin Hoffman many years ago as a movie extra. He’s my height. I was walking around outside with a book in my hand and he asked what I was reading. I showed him the hard to find french novelist George Sand novel (I was told by a “channeler” that I was her in a past life once so I became a collector) and he said she was a great author… and then of course, I was flattered. 😐

  2. Its largely fiction as are most auto biographies but so what, it was a great book (you did read the book right?) and the screenplay by Dalton Trumbo (Johnny Got His Gun) was masterful.

  3. As for papillon I saw her a few years back we went out a bit and then fell out of touch…sexy mother fucker that one.

most passionate and best kisser in my mind.
