Alexis Texas is a Zombie Killer!

Breaking Glass Pictures to Release Alexis Texas’ First Mainstream Film ‘Bloodlust Zombies’

May 23, 2011 – Philadelphia, PA — Breaking Glass Pictures will release director Dan Lantz’s debut feature film “Bloodust Zombies” on DVD July 5.  The horror-comedy, about a zombie virus outbreak in an office building, features adult film star and LA Direct Model Alexis Texas in her first mainstream role.

SYNOPSIS: Like typical 9-to-5 cubicle dwellers, the workers at Zlantoff Industries are just counting down the minutes and seconds by the end of the day.  And just like any office, mishaps are bound to happen: spilt coffee, jammed fax machines … mutant viral outbreaks.  When a chemical spill in the lab on an otherwise uneventful weekday puts the office on emergency lockdown, the staff unwittingly becomes the first test subjects for an experimental, biological weapon – and if the mutant virus doesn’t spur cannibalistic murder, the passive aggressive office banter will.

“Bloodlust Zombies” is a rollercoaster ride of sex, gore and action.  Part office satire, part apocalyptic nightmare, it keeps the laughs – and heads – rolling.

“I really learned a lot from this experience,” says Texas, a five-time AVN winner, on her starring role.

“This was my first time ever on an independent movie so at first I didn’t think I could do it, but when I got on set I just felt comfortable and everything just fell into place. I loved it and hope I do many more."

Special features for the “Bloodlust Zombies” DVD will include a director’s commentary, a behind-the-scenes featurette, and Dan Lantz’s short film “Louisiana Smith and the Bastard Son.”

  1. JESUS FUCKING CHRIST. When will the industry learn that independent and mainstream are two totally different things. I’m so sick of all these canadian horror movies and low-budget Tee-Reel movies being dubbed mainstream. Theatrical release in theaters nation-wide? That’s mainstream. On a television show that airs weekly that’s NOT on public access? That’s mainstream. Straight-to-DVD-first heard about it on Lukeisback? NOT fucking mainstream!!!!!!!
    AAAAAAARRRRRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

  2. Well said Fartz.

Another thing that pisses me off along the same lines is the photos on here and box covers of movies a girl does that show her sexy and dressed and beautiful. Possibly the best she has ever looked in her entire life.

Problem is the amazing looking picture looks nothing like the girl really looks now. They always show the girl looking great and when she takes her clothes off she has awful looking hard as stone implants, or those implants point in 2 different directions, or she is 10 years older and all worn out then her picture (like Ginger Lynn or Janine) , or her picture hid her tattoos and you can see them all over the place once she naked, or she weights 50 lbs. more then she did in her nice looking photo.

If you have been in the business a while and still have an awful set of implants then spend a lil coins and fix them. Ask a girl who has a great set where she got them.

Phoenix Marie is gorgeous and one of my favorite porn stars but man does she have an awful set of implants/tits. Madelyn Marie is another. Truly stunning girl with 2 rock hard stones sitting on her chest.

“Swimming in the main stream is a lame dream”- Black Flag.

“Mainstream” means a lot of different things… mainly it means something popular and well-known. That doesn’t necessarily make it better than what’s not mainstream. A lot of fans of their favorite bands say they went to shit once they became “mainstream”….

  4. I think I’ve gotta agree with Fartz on this one…

  5. I’m not a huge Alexis Texas fan. It’s like, “well, here’s my ass, that’s all you get”. Seriously, her scenes are tepid. There’s no real heat and any libido is completely phoned in. Overrated would be an understatement. Never understood the hype.

But, that being said, good on her for furthering her career. Just because I think she bites the big one as a porn actresss, doesn’t mean that I don’t wish her well in life. She seems like a nice enough person.

That whole mainstream rant was just a bunch of pent-up resentment at the porn industry’s non-stop attempts to legitimize itself in the eyes of the public. Porn’s supposed to be a dirty, foreign concept. That’s what makes it fun. The industry wants to be recognized as being legit by the general public so bad. It’s like the little kid that wants you to pay attention to their jokes and stunts. After they flag you for your attention 32 times, you finally look at them smile, say “that’s awesome” and go on to more important things.
