Warner Bros. issued the following statement: "After careful consideration, Warner Bros. Television has terminated Charlie Sheen’s services on ‘Two and a Half Men,’ effective immediately."
The statement does not say if the show will go back into production.
UPDATE: A source at Warner Bros. says no decision has been made on whether the show will come back.
Sheen said: "This is very good news. They continue to be in breach, like so many whales. It is a big day of gladness at the Sober Valley Lodge because now I can take all of the bazillions, never have to look at whatshiscock again and I never have to put on those silly shirts for as long as this warlock exists in the terrestrial dimension."
The lawyers for Warner used all Charlie’s statements from last week to put nails in his coffin. His telling the reporter that he smokes 7 gram rocks of crack because “thats how he rolls” is what they used as a basis to fire him for admitting to a felony.
i wonder if he’s pulling a huge hoax, like Andy Kaufman and like Andy it got away from him.
Charlie showed up to work and there was no show, they can show all the outtakes they want but they didnt stop show production cause he was fucked up on set. CBS and Warner should make peace, pay Charlie $3mil a show, pay Chuck Lorre a shitload of cash to stay away and get that sucker back together. That show leaves Monday nights and CBS is up a shitter. Biggest expense on that show is Charlie and Chuck, the rest of the show is average price for tv, still good value with the $100mil plus they’ll need to keep those guys happy, besides Chuck has Big Bang Theory and Mike and Molly so he can eat shit, get a payday to stay away and be happy. Chuck Lorre is the problem, Charlie’s sideshow took the heat off Chuck and Charlie and CBS are paying.
