I am very sad to report the death of a wonderful man, make-up artist, Lee Garland. As reported earlier ( https://www.lukeisback.com/?p=14784) Lee had late stage prostate cancer. He passed away at home on Saturday. He was 64.
Lee was a friendly, caring, warm person. He was a wonderful artist, amazing at his craft. He will be so missed.

It is with great sadness that I post that Lee passed away January 29th 2011, from stage four prostate cancer.
He was a creative genius, an amazing artist, a spiritual guide and a teacher .
He truly made an impact on each and every person who knew Lee.
With his beliefs in metaphysics, spirtuality, abundance and Law of Attraction he literally helped change people’s lives.
He was my best friend, my mentor, my creative inspiration and my comic relief.
There is a hole in my heart that will never be filled.
I know that he is with the Angels he knew so well.

It is sad to hear this news about Lee. We were hoping to work with him on Not the Wizard of Oz XXX and he seemed so excited about the challenge but the cancer was such a huge roadblock and ultimately one he was not able to get past. Life is short so enjoy it while you can. Lee will be missed by many and maybe this is a good time to remind all men near 50 to get that prostate exam. If he influences a few of us that is not a bad accomplishment among an impressive list of movies credits and stars he has made even more beautiful during his life.
Lee was awesome person, and he did makeup like no other! None of us looked very good until Lee got done with our faces, no one would have achieved the level of fame they got without him. Rest in Peace you are loved, Lee. You made us all feel beautiful, just being in your presence.
