Thanks for getting back to me– I’m teaching workshops this weekend and I was hoping you could help me spread the word. 🙂
So here’s the story: I am doing my second round of workshops (I did one last year and it was very well received) at the Glamourcon convention this weekend down in Long Beach.
On Saturday I am teaching a shooting workshop (which means I set up the lighting and my students get to shoot) with Victoria White and Samantha Saint from 8-10 PM at the Hilton Hotel in Long
Beach (where the convention is being held). There are only 2 slots left for this workshop (I cap it at 16 so it’s not a cattle call and each shooter gets time and individual attention from me if they need it).
Then I am teaching a seminar/lecture on Sunday from 1:30 to 3:30, where I cover everything from production, to posing, to lighting. There is no shooting for this class.
The second shooting workshop follows this seminar, it’s with Aria Giovanni from 4:30 to 6:30, and that one is sold out but has a waiting list. You can see more details here: http://www.secure-kew.com/glamourconworkshops/register.mv
Glamourcon was originally a Playboy convention that expanded to welcome basically all pinup models and centerfolds:
http://www.glamourcon.com/index.html This is their 50th anniversary show and so Hugh Hefner will be attending on Saturday and will be available for autographs. Any help you could give in spreading the word would be much appreciated! I really love to teach and I think that I may be branching out into teaching more workshops independently– Glamourcon has given me
the chance to get started, as I’m still new to this.

Glamourcon is a good event as its not fanboi heavy as the adult shows. The bulk of the models are very polite and friendly, special shout outs to Akira Lane, Vanna Marie, Becca Blossoms, Jacklyn Wallace, Maggie Green, Jelena Jensen, Aria Giovanni and plenty of others and if our friend Lucky is there stop by, buy some stuff from her. Besides you get to meet Holly. Another plus is that I doubt Porno Dan will be there, though he is damn funny to watch.
Holly is a fucking AMAZING photographer. I have seen such horribly shot videos and photos that I would hope that all of you amateur/wannabe/hack photographers put your egos aside and go learn how to actually frame a shot and how to light a model and take a half way decent photo.
Signup for the class under an alias, whatever. She is a perfectionist and if you look at her body of work you’ll see that if she had chose mainstream over porn she would be just as relevant as she is today…thank God she is on our side 🙂
