Where did they go?
Taija Rae: Rae entered porn during the mid-1980s with supporting roles in films such as 69th Street Vice and Wish You Were Here. She garnered a nomination in 1985 for XRCO Starlet of the Year, and by the end of the decade, the wholesome-looking beauty had a number of star features under her belt, including Taija Rae’s Satin Seduction and Good Morning Taija Rae. Rae retired from the business in 1993 after filming the movies Black Bite, Swedish Erotica Hard 21, Swedish Erotica Hard 28, Supershots 12, Splatterhouse 2, and Splatterhouse 9. She was allegedly last seen working at a Las Vegas restaurant after a stint in prostitution and could not be reached via one of her last known employers.

Samantha Strong: Strong developed a reputation for being unruly and erratic during her run as a porn princess, often acting eccentric on film sets and quarreling with strip club owners over dance gigs. As a Vivid Girl, she became involved in a contract dispute with company CEO Steven Hirsch in the late-80s due to her refusal to perform with bisexual actor Jeff Stryker, whom Strong viewed as a possible AIDS risk (She would eventually consent to work with Stryker in the 1988 film The Heiress). However, despite her idiosyncrasies, Strong left a significant mark on the porn world by acquiring the AVN Best New Starlet award for 1988 and is also a member of the organization’s Hall of Fame. She last performed in 1992 for studios such as Rosebud, Coast to Coast, and Sin City. Last August, Pleasure Productions featured Strong along with Krystal Steele as part of the group’s Old School vs. New School releases. She was unable to be contacted via the Pleasure company.

Met Samantha back in 1992 in miami Beach and she was really “fun” probably the tightest girl in the PORN industry , back then, and beilieve me…not too many of them today around like that!!LOL
When I was starting out as a full time pro musician back in the eighties I scored the music for a porn movie called Merry X-Mas back in 1985 or 1986 and Samantha Strong was the star and played Santa Claus’ daughter. I thought she was super hot and Herschel Savage played a NY guy named Ted who banged Lois Ayers. It was a Christmas themed movie that they shot in the middle of summer so that was quiet funny.
I recently shot Herschel in Not Mash XXX and he remembered the film quite well and said that it was Samantha’s first movie. Those were some carefree days back when I scored music for John T. Bone and Roy Karch among others and it was also the time I was invited onto my first porno set. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I walked onto that set and I actually asked one of the cute girls that was taking a break from a sex scene how long she had been dating the guy she was banging. She looked at me like I was an idiot and responded that she just met him that morning which completely blew my mind. I couldn’t imagine just walking onto a set and screwing a complete stranger! I can now though lol. Samantha Strong was quite sexy in Merry X-Mas but I never met her in person.
Yeah like I said Will I met here in Miami Beach when my girlfriend at the time was dancing(stripping) at Deja Vu on Collins and both her and Samantha became good friends and I took both of them to the Beegees Recording studio for a tour late one night after a”size isn’t everything session, this was just after Hurricane Andrew “Blew us”. Her blog is/was interesting reading, even if the content wasnt good there was always her spelling. How can she be angry with adultfyi, they havent broke a story in decades…and they havent been around that long.
