There aren’t many things I put in the tasteless category when it comes to porn (one could make an argument I guess that it’s all tasteless), but this definitely fits the bill. Making light of sexual predators and their victims? Really? When do the rape parodies start coming out? How about spousal abuse?
And Cyndi, you think this type of thing deserves a “Hell Yeah!” I’ve lost a lot of respect for you. I guess what’s said about you over the Internet is truer than I thought. Sad.

There are literally hundreds of parodies of the show made by everyday people on youtube. Are they all making light of rape or merely responding the the inherent humor of some redneck with the IQ of moss getting busted by Chris Hanson?
If you had a sense of humor or perhaps even a pulse, you’d recognize that the intent of this movie was not to make light of child exploitation, but merely to lampoon a show which is now a part of pop culture.
Funny as hell, and I’m definitely getting this when it comes out.
The strange thing is, I was talking to a friend earlier this evening and she had said she would love to see a porn version of To Catch A Predator.
My response: Nah, there’s no way they’d go there.
Now I have to tell her how very wrong I was.
Too bad that tne DVD will not feature porn “talent” agency recruiters contacting troubled underage teenagers in Myspace and convinving them to move to LA to shoot porn and escort once they turn 18.

Harvey, man is that a true statement as anyone has ever made about “talent” agencies. Tasteless title and idea, but from looking at the female talent you know its not what the title appears. With the real show, how come they never went after women predators or why didnt another network or news org. find out where NBC was doing their thing from and bust them. Like CNN sends in their own “fake” and then the camera crew shows up and asks the girl why she is talking to older men on the internet.
