Back in the early 90’s Rachel Love was a blonde brickhouse big titty blonde on the rise up from the gonzo ranks. She inexplicably disappeared somewhere I couldn’t even pinpoint. When I discovered she was back in the biz I decided to send her a quickie set of questions for her to answer until we can do a more in depth interview. Enjoy!
Smut: When & why did you originally retire from the biz?
Rachel: I retired because of the Aids scare in October of 95, but still made an appearance to sign for Ona Zee at the AVN 96 awards.
Smut: What were you doing for all those years?
Rachel: I went off to get a real estate license and pursue that along with regular modeling for art and clothing and fun stuff. Even though I had quit the business I still followed and watched how they were handling the situation with Aids and early last year thought I had fun with it why not go back, they do pretty good screening and its not like it was back then when no one knew very much.
Smut: What was was the first scene you did upon your return?
Rachel: My first scenes back were for Score however it took them several months to put them out and that was in April 08
Smut:How many scenes have you done recently?
Rachel: Since I have comeback I have probably done over 100 scenes so im not sure how many movies they will turn into.
Smut: Most memorable scene?
Rachel: Most memorable scene from back in the day was probably the Violation Of Rachel Love, I met Debbie and the shoot with the girls was alot of fun.
Smut:Who do you enjoy working with now?
Rachel: As of late one of my favs was for Naughty America with Pike Nelson.
Smut: How has the industry changed since you left?
Rachel: The industry is different, guys take pills and other things to make themselves hard, and girls don’t fluff. whats that about? It is different also by the internet and the companies and how long they shoot or what kind of niche they are shooting for.
Smut: What would you say to those who say porn exploits women?
Rachel: Hmm I think it is a choice, some people enjoy being in front of the camera, whether it be mainstream or adult. The fact is i have had many people contact me and tell me how they were going through a rough time and watching the porn i had done helped them through it. Around every corner you will find someone who thinks something isn’t right.
Smut: Does your family now what you do?
Rachel: My family is very aware, they were then and they are now and they know me and accept what I do, not like we spend time talking about it but they see me as an actress doing my work. Not everyone feels comfortable being in front of a camera, I am just lucky i do 🙂
