Roy Karch has directed and producted an R-rated mainstream Indy movie called
"I’m Good at Freaky"
It’s a take on what could have happened in the three hours Phil Spector spent with actress Lana Clarkson before she was killed. (Spector is currently in prison convicted of her murder.)

Roy Karch has been making movies for a very long time and I’m looking forward to watching the screening with everybody. I’ve known Roy for 23 years and just the other week he told me the story about his ‘other’ life back in New York before porn and I’m telling you it would make a great movie. The guy is a legend and I hope they pack the place as it should be a lot of fun. See you there Thursday night.
I’m sure the movie about his life would be more interesting than 99.9% of the titles he has directed in porn. It’s pretty cool the way your company throws him a bone by hiring him for a no-need-to-show-up position though.
What position would that be Don?
Off the top of my head, it was continuity director or something similar. It was mentioned in one of Will’s recent BTS features (and those that actually watch them, know just how extensive they are) with the offhand comment made with eyes rolling at the guy who seemed to think showing up to work was optional while the others toiled for endless hours each day. 😉
PS: I’m not about to re-watch 30+ hours of BTS footage to get the direct quotes/facial expressions but the fact I remembered it at all with all the nudity and playing around on set should earn me a “no-prize” award. lol
He is legend in his field, he doesn’t have to show up.
