There’s only so much a producer/director can do with the setting, wardrobe and camera movements. The rest and the most important part is up to performers. If they deliver, it’s a hit; if they don’t, it’s a miss.
There are performers who are so good I can almost recommend any scene with them in it, for example Delilah Strong or Kylee Reese, I shot both of them several times; and there are performers who are so bad they ain’t worth your time and money, for example Sasha Grey whom I never shot or Chelsie Rae whom I shot once back in 06 when she was still doing anal.
