LOS ANGELES — An autopsy has shown that retired adult performer Marilyn Chambers died of complications of heart disease, coroner’s officials said today. Chambers was found dead at her Canyon Country-area home April 12.
Los Angeles coroner’s officials said at the time of her death that Chambers had likely died of natural causes despite her relatively young age. She was 56.
Autopsy and toxicology tests confirmed she had suffered a cerebral hemorrhage and aneurysm related to heart disease. Toxicology tests showed the presence of the painkiller hydrocodone and the antidepressant Citalopram in her bloodstream, but not in amounts that could have caused her death, according to coroner’s officials.
Buck Adams had heart problems too. Was it all the coke that people did back in the day?
Yeah, it is all the coke. It will screw your heart up and you won’t live long. Some people make it past 60 (Heck, George Carlin made it to 70 before his heart gave out) but usually Coke will prevail long before that.
The coke heads I know from the 70’s/80’s are either dead or on some sort of heart medication.

Coke? Probably. People like Ginger Lynn and Jerry Butler should be worried, they were all there back in the “blizzard” days. Savannah would’ve been on that road also if she was still with us. Amazing and sad that a scumbag like Marc Wallice may live a long and relatively healthy life while Marilyn, Ron Sullivan and others leave us too young.
Being in this industry has really made me realize that cocaine is dangerous. I always thought that Andy Gibb’s passing from heart problems was just bad luck after being a heavy cocaine user.
