Life is hectic but i’m lovin it

Last wednesday, my driver picked me up at 5.30am to take me to LAX to get my flight to Kalamazoo, Michigan. Spanking early for me man! But I did it no worries. I finally make it to Kalamazoo by 6.30pm. Then I’m told ‘your first show is at 8pm, but if your tired we can just do 2 shows tonight’. UMMMM Hellooooo??? How the fuck do you expect me to get off a plane after travelling for, say 10hrs, check into my hotel, shower, eat, do my hair and make-up, go to club, unload my suitcase with all my costumes etc – on my own, because they wouldn’t fly my roadie out there (to save money cause the ticket was like $1000 since it was thanksgiving weekend). Yeah, that was a bit unrealistic.
Anyway, I danced Wednesday night, spent all day thursday in my hotel room, working on my book and checking emails. Friday and saturday I finished all my shows, and I gotta say, the crowd was the worst I have ever seen in all my 6 1/2 years of featuring. Apparently this town is like that, unappreciative, quiet, boring, blah! I couldn’t stand it, I really felt like I didn’t even wanna try to put on a good show, cause nobody cared anyway. It was fucking lame, and i’ll never go back there – EVER!!!!! BUT, I do thank the fans who actually came and tipped me and sat at the tip rail, or came up to me when I was signing – I wont forget about you, the good people! And the other dancers – you guys rock!
You know, I understand if you dont even have a dollar to spare due to the current economic crisis, but at least cheer me on, sit at the tip rail, I’ll still stick my tits in your face, or bend over right in front of you, give me some kind of energy, because I feed off of the crowds energy, and if you suck, I’m gonna cut the show short. Oh, but of course everyone cheers when it’s time for me to hand out the free posters I give away on stage. This is just Kalamazoo people I’m talking about, I’ve had great crowds in most other parts of the country. At least most of the strippers and staff were nice to me anyway. And the club itself was really nice. Too bad about the clientele.
I had to catch a plane, at 6.30am on sunday, so basically i got no sleep and dragged my ass through 2 airports. Finally get home and my baby boy smokey (the cat), is going nuts cause he’s so happy to see me. That totally made my day.
This morning I had to get up at 8am, do my hair and makeup, pick up my car from the mechanic, go to an audition for a hallmark channel movie, thank god that was quick, I did okay. Then I ran a bunch of errands, including the DMV – which I absolutely can’t stand going to. Got my STD test at AIM cause I have a shoot on Wednesday, and basically did everything on my to do list for today. Oh, and I lost a role in an HBO movie because I’m dancing in Florida next week! FUCK, why can’t they change the shoot dates to work around my schedule! haha, now that would be asking too much wouldn’t it?
However, I’m feeling very accomplished, but feel like I’m gonna pass out. So I’m having a cup of tea right now – as we Aussies like to do. And will relax in about 30mins when I’m done joining a new web cam site which I’ll get into another time!
