I want to thank you for nominating me as "Most Beautiful Non-Porn Girl in Porn". That came as quite a surprise– I just discovered the post today. Obviously a lot of people don’t agree with you, but I’m flattered all the same.
There are two comments that I find amusing, and both are in regards to my weight. First of all, someone accuses me of putting on weight lately. I’ve actually lost 10 pounds in the last year (not that I’m saying I don’t need to lose more!). And another accuses me of being 40+ pounds overweight. If I lost 40 pounds, I would be less than 100 pounds. At 5’7, that would make me grossly underweight. The chubby cheeks and no chin comment-Unfortunately, I have to agree with them on that one.
You know, having hid behind the camera for so long, I knew I was taking a chance by stepping out in front of it. I think it was something I did because a) my members have been asking me to do so for years, but mostly because b) I am turning 30 in a few weeks and I wanted to capture the fading twilight years of my 20s on film. And I guess a part of me (my ego) wanted, for once, to be the star of the shoot.
Do I need to lose weight? Yes, I do feel that dropping another 10 lbs would make looking in the mirror a little less intimidating. And yes, if I walked into my studio for polaroids I would tell myself to lose weight, and I probably wouldn’t book me. If anything, the photoshoot with Mark Daughn made me appreciate the power of good photography. It made me realize how valuable my job skills really are. We all know I don’t look like that in real life (and since, to some of your readers, I look like crap WITH all the makeup
and lighting, then the prospect of seeing me in real life must be truly terrifying).
Another couple of things that were said about me that are untrue: I’m NOT a fake blonde. I have never bleached my hair. I do highlighting tints, otherwise I would be a dirty blonde. And not the good kind of dirty blonde, if you know what I mean. 😉
I have not posed naked– I’ve only done implied nudity. There is no topless stuff of me anywhere, which is why it’s funny I am compared to Hannah Hilton. I mean, I’ll take that as a compliment, even though I know it’s not meant that way. 😉 But let’s put it this way– every modeling shot I’ve done, you can post on myspace. That’s how tame it is.
Most of the feedback I have gotten from my shoot has been overwhelmingly positive. So in a strange way, I should probably thank your readers for ripping me apart online, as it’s always a good thing to be humbled. Now that I’m presented with the balance of positive and negative feedback, it’s good
psychological training for me to focus on the postive, rather than the negative. You know how they say if 10 people are asked to give an opinion of you, and 9 praise you and one insults you, you’ll remember the insult and forget the rest? Well I’m going to forget the insulting comments, and thank
you for the praise. 🙂
And just because my ego demands that I prove I’m not 40+ pounds over, here’s a couple of full body photos from that day. I may have big arms and thighs,but at least I’ve got a waist! 😉

Holly honey, you need to lose a lot more than 10 pounds. Especially if you intend to keep taking your clothes off for the camera. Sorry, but you look fat – I don’t care what your scale tells you. I’m sure you are a wonderful person, but a model you’re not.
Don’t shed no pounds, Holly. I like your ass the way it is. Plus you look healthy now that you ain’t boozing.
