WHY Does Everybody Love Holly? *updated 4pm

WHY does Everybody Love Holly?

I was wondering about this, so I asked her…
Holly,
All the stories I read about you are glowing praise. All the comments that insiders and fans make are positive. Even the real hardasses on the forum boards bow down before you. WHAT is it about you that makes people just fall in love with you like that? Even people that have done no more then read a blurb you post in a thread want to be your friend, and/or lover. You have some kind of spell or magic that infects people around you, and I want to know what it is! (oh, and who broke up with whom, you or Luke?) NL

DEAR NL- *”I don’t really know what to say! I really don’t think I’m that fabulous, in fact, I could spend hours telling you all the things that are wrong with me. But we are our own worst critic, no?” (NL- i missed this part when i posted her response)

All I can say is that I try to be a good person. Especially since I got sober, I want to make right for all of the wrongs I have done to people (namely ex-boyfriends) and do a “living amends” as they say– just be a decent human being. What’s actually funny is I have to make amends to Luke this weekend– I know it seems like he wronged me, but I did really hurt him I think because he cared about me, in his own strange, twisted way. I never really considered us to be a couple, so it’s hard to say who broke up with who. Basically I was just really crappy to him until he couldn’t take our non-existent relationship anymore. That was probably the height of my drinking– or as we say, my bottom.

I think in entertainment industries in general– especially the adult entertainment industry– people are apathetic towards others, especially the talent. When most producers and directors look at the performers in this industry as a piece of meat with multiple holes to fill, I see them as individuals, each with their own characteristic beauty. And it’s my job to make that beauty shine through. My mother taught me that the model is the star and she is the most important person in my studio that day. I think she taught me well.

I’m generally a pretty happy person, and I have a lot of love to give. I appreciate every day given to me, and the people in it. I believe when you project love out into the universe, that’s what you get back. Does that sound too cheesy-hippie? 😉

I’m also very honest about myself, and I talk openly about my issues and flaws. I think people appreciate that because I can admit I’m imperfectly human, and others can relate to my foolishness.

I think it comes down to this: I’m nice to people. I know that sounds riculously simple, but if more people were just nice to each other, this world would be a better place, would it not?

Thanks for your message, it definitely made my day, and it’s only 6:30 in the morning! 🙂

Holly

*Holly says-BTW I forgot to add in there: “Not everyone loves me.” Cause you know, they don’t.
