‘Burn’ will be released August 28. Seriously, how can this movie even sell? It was so expensive as it is and I doubt any “new” Jenna movie can make back it’s initial investment. And because the master tapes were severely damaged, they spent over $100,000 just fixing it.
Jenna still makes money from ClubJenna but since she gave her big FU speech at this year’s AVN awards, do you think she’ll even be promoting this? And promoting a movie she and still current husband Jay did three years ago when she is now dating the so-called love of her life Tito Ortiz. You’ll never see Jenna at another award show or convention again since attempting to go mainstream. Or until she comes out of retirement like in the past after Hollywood and Tito say goodbye to her.
Jenna pissed off many in the industry and many fans because of her AVN speech. She also offended many lesbian and bisexual women by recently stating she’s “totally hetero”. I’m sure Nikki Tyler found that amusing since Jenna and Nikki lived together for years with Jena being heartbroken after Nikki left her for a man.
Steven Hirsch must have sucked the life and brain out of Paul Thomas because Thomas says he really stayed true to the story with not a whole lot of sex in the movie. Not that much sex?? A big budget, three-year-old Jenna Jameson movie cannot sell with very little sex shown. What is going on at Vivid?? It’s porn! A porn movie with not that much sex is like eating a taco with the taco shell replaced with wonder bread! And the insanity continues as Thomas tells AVN:
“Burn is Jenna’s best performance ever. She’s a sympathetic, real character. The relationship between her and Stephanie Swift feels a lot more real, certainly, than most lesbian relationships in X-rated movies. It makes the sex better. But particularly between Jenna and Stephanie, I think that’s great, great stuff. And God, Jenna looks so soft, and so angelic, and so beautiful.”

How can this movie even sell? Well because like it or not, she is a name and names sell movies. If the exact same movie was made with some no name chick the movie wouldn’t be of remote interest but put Jenna Jameson in it and you have a built in fan base that guarantees those sales. We all may think she’s a two faced, ungrateful, stupid whore but she has many fans won will for many years buy anything they staple her name on.
Was the man Nikki left Jenna for Bobby Vitale? I believe they dated & were married for awhile before they broke up and she eventually left the porn industry. Also, the speech Jenna gave at the AVN Awards had many, many fair points, at the least.
who should it be named after? give me one example of any mainstream appearance that isn’t a total joke, having an award based on acceptance in another industry is fucking laughable
I’ve been on other sites and forums before I started my blog, and most of the people I met who are porn fans never had a good thing to say about Jenna as a porn star. Now all these videos are being released that look nothing like her now in a time span of only 3-5 years. She’s alieniated so many of her fans by her actions since that speech and after with saying she’s no longer being bisexual. So everything she’s said before was a completely lie or is everything now a complete lie just to go mainstream? I’ve always said she was highly overrated and a fraud. The fraud part has shined more clearly now.
Bobby Vitale, maybe. I forgot now. But she then left whoever she dumped Jenna for for Steven Hirsch. Hirsch then fires her for “gaining weight”.
In that speech she says she’s proud that she paved the way for the mainstream exposure porn has. Really? So to hell with Marilyn Chambers, Traci Lords, Ginger Lynn Allen, and Ron Jeremy who came before her and kicked down the doors in Hollywood for people like her? She took the spotlight away from Stormy with that speech. The award should never have been named after Jenna because she has never been mainstream Hollywood. Her name is well known but she’s never accomplished anything really in mainstream Hollywood. It’s how she said that speech very bitter and angry in front of the industry that made her who she is today when much more deserving female performers should have the fame and money instead of Jenna. She rambled and babbled and went on and on more so than I do in anything I write. lol She could have left more graciously instead of the “never spread my legs” speech.
How about they name it after nobody? Just the “crossover” award as you pointed out, any attempt at crossing over is nothing more than a joke.
Don’t name it after anyone. Keep the name it already had. It shouldn’t be named after only one person because so many before Jenna should be acknowledged more so than Jenna.
When asked who her role models of porn stars that have done mainstream work are, she said she has no role models because they all had to denounce porn to make it big in mainstream. Really?
She also said the girls in porn are afraid to go mainstream but she has always been “mainstream” and isn’t afraid. Huh?
She mentioned Traci’s name saying she had a fake ID and says she was forced into porn. Yes Traci had a fake ID just like so many other girls before and after her. And the point is? And Traci Lords has never said she was forced into porn. Yes her stepfather got her into adult modeling at 14 but she has always said no one forced her into porn movies and put a gun to her head and she did it because she needed the money. Linda Lovelace said she was forced, not Traci.
Jenna said she got into porn for the fame and stardom and wanted to do it the right way and not be a bimbo. So marrying a rich man is doing it the right way? Having him do all the work while she take all the credit as a “business woman” is the right way? Now dragging out a divorce because she doesn’t want to give him what’s rightfully his is doing it the right way?
Any real star would acknowledge the people in their industry that came before them. But Jenna didn’t. Jenna is not and has never been and will never be mainstream. And the people before her, mainly Traci Lords, kicked down the doors and paved the way in Hollywood for girls like Jenna. People are still talking about Traci 22 years after her scandal broke. Jenna won’t be talked about or working in Hollywood in 22 years and will only be a memory. Jenna has it easier now in Hollywood than Traci and Ginger and others first had.
There were no brains to suck out of Paul Thomas’ head, bongwater maybe, but no brains. Ever since he made the original “Masseuse”, which was pretty good, people were filling PT’s head with the idea he’s an auteur. Jenna never made anything worthwhile after Wicked, in fact I only liked her in that Up n Cummers with Granpa Randy.
