Kylie says- First thing of major importance: The 8th Day. This is a $150 thousand dollar porn movie. Yup, another big one. This is about the same budget as Corruption, which we did for SexZ Pictures a couple years ago, the first one of two movies for SexZ that won several awards at the AVN Awards over the last 2 years. But this little $150K Epic is actually for Adam & Eve and is being directed by AVN Award-winning director Ren Savant, who also works with us as our cameraman and editor extraordinaire.
The 8th Day is a post-apocalyptic movie about a girl (Adam & Eve contract star Kayden Kross) who awakens in the future and finds a completely different world. It’s a 10 day shoot throughout the month of August in various locations around Los Angeles and the California Desert. I will be doing a scene in this movie although my main focus is as the Production Designer. My team and I are responsible for creating the look and feel of the post-apocalyptic future…no small feat lemme tell you. Since we are in preproduction already, arranging, shopping for and creating our sets and wardrobe, I am going to be SUPER busy. Also starring Amber Rayne and Tyler Knight in the leading roles and a scene with Adam & Eve contract girl Bree Olsen as well!
No one cares if it cost $150k. If thats the biggest selling point then it be be yet another complete dud.
I notice that on DirectTV that alot of movies from PinkVisual are available as PerPerView for around $10. PinkVisual shoots movies that cost about $5,000. Will people pay more to view a movie that cost $150k?

Will this movie be on bittorrent websites within a few days of its release so that people can view it for free.

Hopefully Kylie is getting paid well from this movie since it costs so much.
$150k is still such a drop in the bucket for a REAL movie. Low Budget in the main stream world is 7 or 8 Millon. REAL producers would laugh their ass off on the idea of making a movie for $150,000. They would tell you that the preproduction meetings to discuss making the film would cost that much.

Whoever told you Pink Visual shoots their movies for $5,000 is an idiot. I’ve seen production budgets where they consistently spend $3000-5000 on single scenes.
