Adult performer Larin Lane writes in with the following:
I am Larin Lane a performer in the business. Shy Love at Adult Talent Managers has been managing me since July of 2007. I had a brief period (1 week) were Shy and I were at a disagreement and went over to Generation XXX Models. I then realized that it was a mistake and decided to part ways from Debella and Mike Boom because they were extremely volatile. Since then they have been contacting directors and producers and telling them not to hire me. I am continuously receiving threatening calls and emails from them. I am writing this to tell everyone that what they are stating is not factual and they do not represent me. This email is to inform talent to be weary when dealing with then. GenerationXXXmodels.com has not provided one job they did offer me two jobs BG for $400 (each) which are not even close to industry standards and now they are attempting to sue me for what I have no idea.
To all directors I am available for work thru www.adulttalentmanagers.com
Regards
Larin Lane
GenerationXXXModels is operated by Jewel De’Nyle’s mother De’bella (aka Debbie Schwarz). Debbie, along with Jewel’s father Larry, initially worked at RedLight District/Platnium X. I had heard that De’bella had a business partner to get the agency off the ground. That partner must be Mike Boom that Larin Lane mentions in her email.
Larin goes on to post an email between her and De’bella:
Re: shoot Saturday, January 26, 2008 4:46:36 PM To:LaRin Lane
La’Rin;I don’t know if this is you or KJ writing this email. I need a personal phone call from you (La’Rin) stating that you have turned down this shoot per our legal adviser. If you think this negative behavior is going to get you out of your contract you are wrong. Your actions are not going to look favoranble in front of the court. We have put together all of your (La’Rin) and KJ’s e-mails, txt, voicemails and exclusive contracts for our attorney to review.
Here is Larin’s response to De’Bella:
De’Bella
Debella the rate on this scene is too low anyway, I’ve done blow job scenes for that much. You are low balling the hell out of me and expect me to live on 600 dollars minus your 10% fee, it aint happening and you know it (I cant live on that, who could?). 600 in almost a month and a half or more, that is some nerve to hold me in this contract, your wrong and you know it. I thought you said this was a Wicked shoot, doesnt look like it to me. See what we mean about all the wrong information and promises that you guys are feeding to us.
De’Bella responds to Larin Lane with the following:
I am a firm believer in freedom of speech and welcome the opportunity to respond. One thing about freedom of speech it that is an awesome responsibility you take on when you try to say knowingly untruthful things with the intent to discredit, libel and slander persons in media print.
People in the Industry that really know me, know I never lie or misrepresent anything. Furthermore, I would never take advantage of anyone for any reason. It’s against my basic make up. But what I have learned is to keep all e-mails, text messages and transfer voice mails to tape. So any rebuttal I make here to Larin Lane’s comments has a factual basis for it, I have documentation to support it and people to testify to it.
I am the License Holder of Generation XXX Productions. I am a State of California Department of Labor Standards Enforcement Licensed Talent Agency and my license number is 48985.
If “Shy Love” and “Adult Talent Managers” has been managing Larin Lane since July 2007 she is doing so in violation of California State law. If anyone checks with the DLSE Licensing Board they will find Shy Love does not have a current operating license in the name Shy Love, Adult Talent Managers or in the name Sheelah Blumberg. You will also find “There was not even a license application on file for any of those names”.
According to the State of California statue none of the contracts signed by Ms Love or representatives of her unlicensed talent agency has any legal standing and are non-enforceable.
Ms Lane approached me to sign with the Agency on 12/22/08. She was given a State of California Approved Exclusive Contract. My contracts are conformed to the state requirements and my master contracts have the state seal and approval stamp. Which are fully enforceable and required for use by licensed talent agencies. So according to the State of California statue we are the only ones authorized to represent Ms Lane currently and collect booking fees.
On one occasion Ms Lane requested me to call my ex-husband Larry Schwarz of Red Light Distribution to make sure that Shy Love was denied access to her most recent check and that the check for her most recent work was sent to Larin’s home and not Shy’s. This is not behavior of an individual that is being threaten or not voluntarily requesting her Agent for assistance.
Ms Lane joined the agency at a time during the Christmas Holiday when many of the studios were winding down and getting ready for AVN. Ms Lane and her boy friend KJ had no way to AVN, so I purchased his ticket for entry and had one of our sponsors pay for hers. She agreed to work for 2 hrs at the convention at the sponsor booth. Because of all of her personal problems she had once she got to Las Vegas, she never finished her commitment to the company that purchased her pass. She was never asked to reimburse the sponsor for her breech of the agreement.
After reading Ms Lane’s comments posted here in the article, I have received calls from two other persons that were at AVN and overheard Ms Lane saying “Shy was going to black list her if she left the Shy’s agency.” So I am confused or Ms Lane memory is impaired????
Until we returned from AVN there were no problems. Once back from AVN Shy Love went on a campaign to get Ms Lane back to her unlicensed agency making Ms Lane promises of work. This was according to statement Lain made to several people including directly to me. Ms Lane stated directly to me and one other person affiliated with Generation XXX Productions that Shy had told her “that she (Shy), had told various studios that She (Ms Lane) was on vacation and was coming back to her (Shy)”. This created a problem to book Ms Lane, as the directors were confused as to who really represented her.
No one from Generation XXX Productions has called any studios or directors and told them not to hire Ms Lane. I have over three hundred e-mails saved where I have sent directors soliciting work for Larin. Ms Lane has turned bookings down and not returned any of my calls or answer text or e-mails.
Ms Lane. must not be getting her emails or some one is intercepting those e-mails. We have kept copies of the multiple bookings that were sent to her. I have an obligation to notify the talent when they are requested by a director/producer and there is a booking available and how much that booking is. If Ms Lane refuses that booking, that’s on her. Ms Lane has turned down a recent booking for Jewel De’Nyle’s latest high selling movie line. Ms Lane also turned down a part in a “feature” because her boy friend KJ was removed from the production.
No one has ever threatened Ms Lane.
Prior to this article there has been no attempt to litigate or enforce any of the breech of contract by me. I have only tried to hold her accountable for her commitments. I have suggested to her that if she and her friend KJ want to continue to disregard their contract and continue not to accept bookings, they should hire a attorney and let the courts settle this. Instead Ms Lane elected to air her unfounded accusations in the “Court of Public Opinion”.
I asked around on who Mike Bloom is. I even asked De’Bella but she did not respond. One source tells me that, "Mike Boone is De’Bellas new love interest and partner. He handles the business aspect of Generationxxxproductions. He is the new porn bully in the business…"
Larin Lane writes in responding to De’Bella:
This is my final response to GenXxx reply & lies….
I am with Shy Love’s agency (ATM) & she is representing us to the fullest. GenXxx did ‘NOTHING’ for us in 2 months of being with them. It wasn’t until after two months that went by that GenXxx offered lowball rates to me which were not even close to industry standards. It was then that we decided it was time to move on. Let’s see here…..If GenXxx were offering me legite/reasonable bookings then why would I turn down these great business opportunities & money? I wouldn’t! The facts are that I was ‘NEVER’ offered bookings within reasonable rates. It wasn’t until after two months of not being booked that I got offered these lowball bookings. It was then, after two months going by that I was offered two B/G internet rates at $400 a piece & one scene with Jewel De’Nyle including a solo scene for $600 dollars. Way below industry standards rates. As far as the feature I was going to be in….the funder pulled out of the movie. Their is no feature movie at this time.
We made amends with Shy Love & everything has been great since. I have been back to work like normal, rockin out my scenes, something that GenXxx failed to produce. Our contracts were still valid with Shy Love, which means the contract that we recently received 2 1/2 months later with GenXxx was never valid to begin. Besides GenXxx breached their non valid contracts themselves by not producing any reasonable bookings as stated in my previous posting. They made promise after promise w/o being able to fulfill any of those promises. Blowing smoke??? We were simply running out of money while GenXxx new agency were going through their growing pains. Unfortunately I do not have the funds to wait around while GenXxx gets their new agency going. They are in process of suing us for breach of contract. Once again….what we breached……….we have no idea? It’s quite simple….GenXxx are trying to get something for nothing. I challenge GenXxx to show that we have been booked by them (before we decided to leave GenXxx) within reasonable industry standards rates. I really have nothing further to say on this matter. Please feel free to book me through AdultTalentManagers.com (Shy Love).
