I lost another advertiser today. The loss of revenue really hurts. Does anyone want to buy some ad space?
Here is my traffic graph. I do roughly the same traffic as Xbiz.com, which I imagine does close to $10,000 a month in online ad revenue. And I do far more traffic than AdultFYI.com, which has ads everywhere. What am I doing wrong?

OK Im gonna tell it like it is for starters you aint Luke. Your updates are lazy and even worse. AVN isnt being sold off bit by bit advanstar has owned AEE for several years now and you were wrong about avn selling the awards show. This is just pure laziness. But even that would be forgiven by your readers IF you kept the audience entertained…as it is BigDickDaddy does more for your readership than you do.

I have to agree with what was said above by Mike South. PLUS … How many times have you posted a blog entry ending with a comment like “more to follow”? And then there is never any subsequent follow up.
Here’s another thing. If I’m correct, Alexa measures traffic by the number of unique visitors to a site. It doesn’t define the how long they stay on the site or how commercially valuable they are to the site’s advertisers.
The bottom line for an advertiser is simply how much sales revenue can the ads on a particular site generate. That’s pretty easy for the advertisers to figure out.
Adultfyi probably is cheaper to advertise on and is able to convert better. They also put their ads right down the center. Considering some of their news stories are advertising propaganda themselves, like Not the Brady’s XXX winning best DVD menus, there might be something insider going on there.
No one is gonna advertise until Luke gets his head out of his ass and works to improve the website. Specifically more articles and more drama. If he keeps his current pace up he will be even more homeless then he is now. There is always plenty of drama in the jizz biz. For example that stupid loser “dick chibbles” who made a stupid ass posting on Adultfyi is in vegas trying to get work. Like a good suitcase pimp he is free to work with other women but his whore can only work with him. He is a retarded looking dude so he better have money for a bus ticket back to Greyhound.

The industry is full of stories worth publishing, but often times you adopt the same or at least a similar attitude than that of Jenna Whatever. If you really think that porn hurts your Jewish faith, quit and do it for good. But if you want to make a living out of this industry you need to do your homework, and that–BTW–does not mean that you should agree with all the crap that you quite accurately describe in many of your entries. Quite the opposite, but whether you decide to compete with AVN (as an industry cheerleader) or you become a true watchdog of the industry you need accurate reporting, frequent updates, and you need to make up your mind about whether you keep your association with porn or you devote your energies to all your other websites.

Porn is Dead? Long live Porn! The thing you might want to look at is updating and upgrading your ad space. The 300×250 ads are nice. You could supersize your banners to 728×90 and 160×600. Bigger ads do better.
