AVN has sold their AVN Awards show to an as-yet undisclosed company. From what I have been told, the buying company is not a known adult business, but an outside investment group. They might have also sold other the AVN Adult Entertainmetn Expo and Internext, but that is not confirmed yet. The AVN Awards sale is confirmed by multiple good sources.
