Director Ricky D Leaves Anabolic

CHATSWORTH, CA — Named one of the top 10 hottest directors for 2007 by X-Biz and the adult industry’s youngest decorated movie directors, Ricky D, has announced his departure from Anabolic Video.

For the last three years Ricky D has shot movies for both Anabolic and Diabolic, and more recently, left his head directorial spot at Diabolic after producing over 25 movies to shoot exclusively for Anabolic. Just after directing another 4 high-definition movies under the Anabolic umbrella in the past 2 months, including the first gonzo scene featuring the former-Vivid "Love Twins" and leading Anabolic into the Alt-scene, Ricky D has moved on to become a free agent.

"I felt like it was time for me to move on from the Anabolic-world. I’m trying out the free agency game and looking over some deals that have been sent my way and accepting any others that are proposed. There are few directors out there that do both the photography and editing for each movie they direct and shoot, so I may move towards the Internet side since I have experience in that side as well."

While at Anabolic, Ricky D was credited as directing the company’s first ever Blu-Ray movie, a 5 girl orgy film with a title and release date to be announced soon. Being only 22 years old, he believes he has a different vision of what a movie should feature as opposed to the older directors.

In a previously-released written statement, Anabolic’s president Christopher Alexander is quoted as saying that, “Ricky’s work speaks for itself. His artistic vision for what looks great and his passion for capturing intensity and getting the most out of the performers is attributable to his youth. He brings a freshness that’s not seen in very many directors.”

Ricky D has plans to launch an adult webmaster affiliate program, HypeDough.com/HypeXXX.com in the coming months which includes his first premier flagship site, Kayden420.com.
