Ninn Worx Merges With Spearmint Rhino

AVN reports:

Ninn Worx has merged with Spearmint Rhino Consulting Worldwide to create Ninn Worx_SR, Incorporated.

"[Spearmint Rhino owner] John Gray has wanted to expand into video production highlighting the Spearmint Rhino network of gentlemen’s clubs for a while," said Ninn Worx president Michael Ninn. "I am set to produce video titles for John along with my own productions, now that we have formed Ninn Worx_SR."

Sherry Ziegelmeyer and Jay Moyes email:

Dear Luke,

Jay and I sincerely wish you had contacted us to verify the facts before publication of the libelous remarks that someone has feed you regarding Michael Ninn and his company. We ask that in the future, you would contact the people that actually know what is going on at Ninn Worx to confirm what is real and what is not before running something so blatantly manufactured and damaging to your reputation as a credible reporter.

The only true statement in what you have posted about Ninn Worx, is that Tom Deniro is in fact Mrs. Michael Ninn’s ex-husband and he is a recovering addict that worked for Lynton Appleson. Tom is Ninn Worx General Manager, he is an inspiration and his integrity is solid. That Mr. Deniro sold “tranny movies” is also a true statement, however unimportant.

Ninn Worx is under no financial duress, nor is Michael Ninn himself. Ninn Worx is not being sued by anyone and Ninn Worx has no current record of outstanding debt. If anyone out there feels that they are due money from Ninn Worx, then we’d suggest that they contact Ninn Worx directly. Does anyone truly believe that LA Direct or any other agency would let any talent go unpaid by any producer, for as long as is alleged in this story? We think not, and you know better as well, Luke.

It would be wonderful if the person that is spreading all of these libelous statements would come to Michael himself, or whomever this person has a beef with at Ninn Worx. For the sake of your integrity and credibility Luke, please cease and desist from continuing to carry this person’s attack against Michael Ninn and Ninn Worx any further. If you have any questions regarding the state of Ninn Worx affairs, you may always feel free to contact Black and Blue Media, and Jay and I will give you the accurate information.

In answer to my follow-ups, Sherry and Jay say:

Michael’s movies all tend to have the traditional 5 scenes, and some even more. There are only two releases that I can think of with only three scenes, and those are Neo_Pornographia 2 and Neo_Pornographia 3. This you can easily check for yourself, by typing Michael Ninn in the “Search Movies” function on the left hand side of the page and choosing to search by “Director”.

Michael has owned Ninn Worx for at least 15 years of his 20 year career. He used other distributors, but has owned his company for a very long time and handled everything from production to editing to replication to packaging through Ninn Worx for most of that time.

Michael Ninn is not selling his company nor his home to pay debts. Ninn Worx has entered a partnership with Spearmint Rhino to create an umbrella company called Ninn Worx_SR. Inc. Ninn Worx will remain a separate entity, as well as Spearming Rhino, while combining a lot of the elements of both companies into a much bigger company.

Michael and his family are moving to Norco, because that’s where Spearmint Rhino owner, John Gray decided to build the new Ninn Worx_SR, Incorporated corporate offices. Selling his personal property was not related in any way to himself or Ninn Worx needing money. He just isn’t about to drive from Pismo Beach to Norco each day to work, and who can blame him? The new facilities have everything; production studios, office space for both companies, warehouse space for both companies and editing studios.

No one is suing Ninn Worx or Michael Ninn to any of their or our knowledge and certainly not Eddie Van Halen.

There’s Tom, Renitia, Tiffany and another girl, (I am very sorry that neither of us can remember her name at this moment…) in the Chatsworth Office. There’s Alison (Ninn Worx office manager) and Lucky (web master) in the Pismo Office and there’s Lorraine Sisco, who works directly with Michael. The two people that did not immediately decide to move to where the company was relocating were one warehouse girl and Lucky, and Lorraine already lives much nearer to Norco than Pismo or Chatsworth. If Ninn Worx had no money, why would these people pick up everything and move to some place like Norco to work for them? They are going because this new merger will only increase the already great profits of Ninn Worx. Tom is adding an assistant salesperson after the move, increasing the existing staff to handle the sales duties.

Everyone was paid for that shoot as soon as possible, and it was more the crew that had to wait, than any of the talent. The check from the investor in that shoot did not clear as quickly as it was supposed to, and Ninn Worx accountant had already issued the checks, thinking it had already cleared. Michael and his wife personally contacted every one involved and asked that the crew and talent hold their checks for that shoot, until they could move the needed available funds from other Ninn Worx accounts to that particular production account and everyone got paid within days of the mix up. Most companies hold separate accounts for the different aspects of their business and Ninn Worx does as well, it was only a matter of transferring the money from one account to the other, but that does require paperwork to be done to track transfers, which does take a short amount of time.

Whether the wording of their email was “pathetic” or not, is in the eyes of whomever your source was. As we stated in the first response, if there is ANYONE that feels they have not been paid what they were due, they can contact Ninn Worx directly and they will be happy to help them straighten it out. But, the records for that production show that every one on that shoot, (as the records for every other aspect of Ninn Worx business dealings show), that everyone has been paid what they are owed for that production. Ninn Worx will continue to be pay everyone they work with in any aspect what they are truly owed, whether it’s the talent and crew on a new shoot, a new employee or outside contractor, or whatever. This is why so many people in this industry chose to work with Michael Ninn. He is an upstanding individual with a very high level of personal integrity, and he tries his best to chose only those with the same level of integrity he holds himself to, to work with.

As you have updated in the time it has taken for the two of us to reply to your email, please know that we are checking on whether the term “bought” is the truly appropriate term to describe the partnership agreement between Spearmint Rhino and Ninn Worx to form Ninn Worx_SR, Inc. . . . But, if that’s the term John used when he spoke with you, then everyone at Ninn Worx and Black and Blue Media is fine with that. John is a good man and this is going to be wonderful for both companies as everything moves forward. However, regardless of what terms are used to describe this business merger, it has nothing at all to do with Ninn Worx finances. It is a merger that will benefit both parties, and both parties come into it as strong companies in their own right.

Jay and I are always happy to answer any questions that you have to the best of our ability, and if we don’t know the answer, we will certainly research it as much as possible so you have the truth.

Now, we must regretfully conclude this exchange, as we have a whole lot of planning and arranging to do, as the merger comes together. Black and Blue Media will be working in coordination with Spearmint Rhino’s publicity people to handle all the things that any publicist does for the new company. Thank you again for taking the time to let us speak, Luke.
