Luke’s numbers are the ones with least deviation.
Hey, Luke!
In the interest of transparency, I wanted to politely point out that you misread the numbers from Compete.com. I’m not 100 percent with how they calculate traffic numbers, but the first number they show is “people,” which refers to some idea of how many people visit a website. Maybe this is how they compute unique visitors.
However, in the case of their “people” rating, higher numbers mean *more* traffic, so your rankings should be reverse, putting XFANZ in second-to-last place on that list.
For the record, here are Compete.com’s numbers for rank (where a lower number is better):
AVN.com 21,648
LukeIsBack.com 22,972
XBIZ.com 38,363
XFANZ.com 75,421
AdultfFYI.com 138,483
I’m delighted to see our numbers moving higher, but I don’t want any of the XFANZ crew taking credit for high numbers that we haven’t earned yet.
Thanks!
Bob Preston
Its also good to remember that these numbers are not a true gauge of traffic since (As with Alexa) these sites use people who have installed such things as toolbars on their browsers. Its kind of like the Nielsen Ratings of the web. A small percentage showing its self as a greater whole. Regardless its nice to see XFANZ in that group.
