Tina Marie Laolagi, born in 1966, is part Samoan, part Haole. Her brother is pornographer John Stallion (John Laolagi). Born in Samoa, they grew up in Portland, Oregon.

As a teenager Tina Marie saw an ad for a modeling agency and started posing nude for numerous men's magazines, then entered X in loops such as Golden Girls 5, then Lisa DeLeeuw's sex mate in Marilyn Chamber's Up 'n Coming, Star 84, Where the Girls Are, Naughty Girls, Paper Dolls, Never Sleep Alone and Lingerie.

Money and curiosity motivated Tina Marie to enter sex films. "I'm a pastor's daughter. I always felt guilty after having sex with someone. I felt I had to love them before I could f--- them. As for getting into sex films, I figured I'll try it once and if I can walk out feeling like a normal human being with a few bucks in my pocket, I'll do it."

Tina Marie eventually divorced Mark Carriere. They maintained a civil relationship for years until it turned bitter. Tina Marie alleged he was behind on his divorce payments. She met with mobsters to ask them to hurt Mark.

"Tina Marie was beautiful but she ruined herself with drugs and alcohol," says a porn source. "Most of these girls do, like Amber Lynn. Amber used to have $500,000 in the bank. Now she has nothing.

"Tina Marie's brother John Stallion used to hang out at mobster Joe Isgro`s office. Tina Marie met mob guys like Rocky at POLO Lounge and wanted them to hurt her ex-husband Mark Carriere, owner of Leisure Time. Joe Isgro is Gambino Family MEMBER and Record guy Payola and Shylock. He is in the book Hit Men by Fredric Dannen. He was under Joe Piney and met with John Gotti.

"Tina Marie's brother John Stallion organized the big Pornathon in 1989 for Mark Carriere. They shot about 60 porn movies in 30 days and all the talent got bad checks. It was organized by John, and Ben Silver the Israeli and Jerry Zimmerman. All the organizers got new cars. Carriere got all the masters and all the model releases and none of the talent got paid a dime.

"The late Jerry Zimmerman was a tremendous con man, close to Sonny Franzese and his Sonny's son Michael. Michael stole $300 million. They made a breakdancing movie "Knights of the City," starring Sammy Davis Jr and Janet Jackson. And they made another movie starring Linda Blair, Mausoleum.

"Then Jerry Zimmerman and John Stallion brought the Russian circus over (The Great Circus Bim Bom) in 1990. And it ran out of money in Missouri because Jerry and John stole all the money. The animals were starving. It was on 60 Minutes. They had to feed these Russian people and send them home. The circus had been around 100 years and they bankrupted it in two months."

"Mark Carriere's guy John Stallion carried a gun," says a porn source, "but he too was all talk.

"Jerry Zimmerman and John stole a lot of blank tapes. I know Jerry got a container one time. They were also going to burn down a building for Mark Carriere."

Beginning July 7, 1987, John Stallion's production company Stallion Films shot continuously for four weeks (47 films) at 306 Loma Drive in Los Angeles.

Writes the Los Angeles Times 12/23/89: "When a film executive asked the Los Angeles YWCA last summer if his company could use the association's stately Clark Residence downtown for a production, YWCA officials gave the go-ahead, under the impression that it was for a documentary with Elizabeth Taylor. Instead, the four-story building was used to film a "pornathon" of adult videos that has embarrassed the YWCA.

"Sgt. Donald Smith of the Police Department's administrative vice division said the losses may add up to $320,000. Yeehorn Shuai, an attorney for Trans Pacific Marketing, an Orange County videotape and cassette company, said his firm filed suit last month in Orange County Superior Court against Stallion Productions and Laolagi. The suit asks for $894,000 in damages for fraud, alleging that Laolagi failed to pay for tape he ordered." (Los Angeles Times, 12/23/89)

The LA Times says cast and crew members lived at the stie around the clock during filming. Armed guards were stationed around the building to keep performers in.

"Laolagi agreed, saying he feared that if the performers left the building during shooting, they might not return, jeopardizing completion of the video. Performers were allowed to leave on weekends, he said." (LA Times)

Laolagi told the LA Times there was no intent to defraud anyone, adding that production costs simply spiraled out of control.

A volunteer spokesman for the splinter circus group in Las Vegas is none other than Samoan-born porno star John Stallion ; his real name is John Laolagi. Stallion, as he prefers to be called, says he has stuck with the Russians this far without pay because he cares about them and is confident he will be rewarded once the show gets off the ground: "I thought I'd make a lot of money, so when the circus went down the tubes I didn't jump ship." He believes he's still sailing with a winner. "They've got the horse troupe {in Atlanta}, but we've got two acts that make the circus unique," says Stallion, including gymnast Alexander Bondarov. "He's the Joe Montana of the Russian circus," says Stallion.

On July 6 Jerry Zimmerman, one of the former promoters of the Las Vegas group, was served with search warrants, according to Los Angeles County police, who said they were hunting evidence of possible irregularities related to unfiled payroll taxes of actors and film crews who had been hired to crank out 100 pornographic films last year. Zimmerman and Stallion were partners in that venture under the umbrella of John Stallion Productions.

That same day, Stallion was arrested and released in Las Vegas for outstanding traffic tickets. "How'd you find out about that?" he wonders.

From the LA Times 9/16/90:

Just who is to blame for causing an international debacle that gave the Russian visitors a firsthand look at a dark side of capitalism is still unclear. San Fernando Valley businessmen who promoted and produced the show blame the Kuwaiti for pulling out and leaving the tour penniless, while an attorney for the Kuwaiti said hundreds of thousands of dollars invested in the tour simply disappeared. An expert in promotions said the tour was doomed from the start by poor planning.

Now, the FBI and the Los Angeles police are conducting separate investigations of the tour and of an incident last summer in which one of the city's most historic buildings, the Clark Residence, was used to film 47 hard-core sex videos over a three-week period. Key figures in both incidents, according to court documents and corporate records, were two men operating out of an Encino business, John Stallion and Jerry Zimmerman. Police say Zimmerman lives in a condominium above Ventura Boulevard and is a former partner of Michael Franzese, a top member of the Colombo organized crime family.

Zimmerman also was accused in 1986 of being involved with Franzese in the theft of up to $50 million in Florida gasoline taxes, which was used in part to finance a movie called "Knights of the City," according to published accounts in Florida. Zimmerman said in an interview with The Times that he was convicted in that case, placed on probation and fined $100,000.

Zimmerman was a past partner of Michael Franzese, an admitted Colombo organized crime family member who was named in 1986 by Fortune magazine as one of the top 50 mob bosses in the nation. Zimmerman and Franzese also were executive producers of a horror film called "Mausoleum."

The Encino office of ISB West is still in business, though under a new name. Now involved in the music business, Stallion asked that the company name not be mentioned.
