10/26/00 Jeff Miller from SunUp Media writes: Gene and Luke: This will be the last comment made by SunUp Media, SunDown Media, and myself in regards to Mr. Kevin Blatt. As you can see, now Kevin has moved to personal attacks. I have no more time for Kevin Blatt, I have a business to run. Apparently since Kevin is once again out of work, he has much more time than I do to attempt to publically humiliate me. Of course, he had the same amount of time on his hands when he was employed here. I say attempt, because anyone that has met Kevin does not take anything he says seriously. Kevin's actions and history speak for themselves. After this e-mail, we will have no further comment on Kevin Blatt. There are three items that do require our final comment as Kevin's delusions have affected others. 1. Kevin was not the co-founder of SunDown Media Group, Inc. We hired him, the company was already founded. The company was founded as a joint venture by SunUp Media Group and an Australian firm. 2. My comment about Joe Elkind being a cokehead: The statement that I made in regards to Joe Elkind was made in a private conversation via ICQ with Kevin. He was the one that forwarded it to Luke, thus making it public. The only knowledge that I have of Joe Elkind's drug use comes from Kevin Blatt himself. In a conversation regarding the legality of truecelebs, Kevin asked me if Joe could be sent to jail. I told him that under the law, it was possible but highly unlikely. Kevin responded that if their was no jail possibility that Joe would not care, as long as he still made money and had his coke and his pornstars. 3. Kevin and prostitutes. Kevin can deny it all he wants. My partner in AU is a bit upset about being called a liar. Kevin was pushing him several times during the evening to buy him a prostitute. Dennis refused to do it. In fact, they were supposed to meet the next day for lunch before Dennis headed back to LAX to catch his flight home. Dennis was so annoyed by Kevin's constant pushing for the prostitute, that he left early the next morning and cancelled lunch. As for Kevins comments about friends and money. Big words coming from someone who really does not have either. Kevin has no money, and his list of friends is much shorter than he is aware. I, on the other hand, after building a tremendously successful business from nothing, have quite a bit of both. I am not ashamed of my wealth and standing in the industry. I have a wonderful personal life, a wife who is phenomenal, a fantastic son, a new daughter on the way, and more blessings than any one man deserves. Kevin has none of that, except in his delusional mind. Enough said. Kevin Blatt and professionalism are only heard in the same sentence when they come from Kevin's mouth. The people that know Kevin, know this. The people that don't yet know Kevin, will learn this. Enough of the "woe is me, Kevin Blatt" saga. The yawns from the crowd are deafening. Witnesses to my "letter of Intent" dated early June saying that the letter serves as a contract ( legally binding) until the proper paperwork is signed in " A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME" Luke is 5 months reasonable to be working for free? As for calling Joe a Crack head, he is not a crackhead, Jeff wanted to get some exit traffic from him and when he wouldn't do business he had to resort to calling him a criminal and "crack Head" I think it is sad that with every comment he makes he wishes me well and says I should drop it. Luke I will NEVER take s--- from someone when I know it is 100% slanderous. The reason I sent the private ICQ was because on your show he said "I Never called Joe a crackhead" When I produced the document all of sudden he admits it was a private ICQ So which is it Jeff? I just found out that there is some lawsuit going on with that but s---, as long as I am getting paid. If he [JoeE] goes to jail, he goes to jail. Because I don't know what he's doing is legal or not. I put my faith in them. They've got their own lawyers. I will advertise with them until they're told to take it down. "But I did notice the exit console was going out to Karas and it had a different account number. I thought about it and said, my sites do the same thing. That's one of the reasons he can pay $35 a signup because the people who don't sign up, he gets an occasional signup to Karas. It's got to equate somehow. "Some people might not be as nice about that. Some people are stingy about their exit traffic. I don't care, with $35 per signup... Seriously, I am only of about 4 porners who have never done any form of illegal drug." I have heard him say one thing to his "friends" and then turn and say another thing completely oppostite 20 minutes later to another "friend"!!! I don't know Miller so I cant' say anything about him. His demeanor and actions speak for themselves. However, again, we feel it important to clarify mis-statements and untruths made by Kevin Blatt about our companies. 1. The letter of intent: The letter of intent required Kevin to work full time. He never did. There was not one week that Kevin worked a full work week. In addition, as I have stated, Kevin was never available to finalize the paperwork. He was required to come to the office in Temecula at least once a week, in 5 months he only came to the office on 4 or 5 occasions. 2. Kevin's claim that he worked for "free": Kevin did not work for free. First, Kevin really didn't work. He stated to us on three occasions that he purposely did nothing for 5 months because he didn't yet have his contract. In addition Kevin was paid a 4 digit weekly salary from day 1 until October 23rd. He was also provided full medical benefits. 3. Joe Elkind: I stand 100% behind my last e-mail. I do not agree with Joe Elkind's business ethics but I have many friends who are friends of his. I have met him on one occasion for 5 minutes. All knowledge I have of Joe Elkind is from Kevin Blatt, as I stated in my last e-mail. The conversation re: truecelebs is exactly as I have stated. 4. Prostitutes: Dennis is not a liar. He is one of the most ethical business people we have ever been associated with. He is one person that can be taken at his word, period. 5. My "litigious" ways: As I stated on your show, we have filed 3 lawsuits to protect the illegal use of our copyrighted images in 5 years. Of the more than 500 people that have used our images illegally, 3 have been sued. The rest have been let off the hook. Mr. Blatt thinks I am litigious yet all he keeps saying is how his lawyer is watching and listening. If Mr. Blatt feels that we have slandered or libeled him in any way, then I strongly encourage Mr. Blatt's attorney to find his way to the courthouse and proceed with legal action against us. This entire incident began when Kevin e-mailed Dennis the other night THREATENING to make negative public comments about us and our company. His exact quote is: "I would prefer to handle the situation at hand like an adult so I would like to hear how you will make this as comfortable as possible for me. Let me know how the story ends. Me riding off into the sunset whistling, or a quiet storm reflecting negatively upon you?" We will not be extorted by Mr. Kevin Blatt, or anyone else. Thanks again Luke and Gene. If Jeff wants to continue his talk of extortion and lies on my behalf ,I challenge him to a Polygraph test at the IA2000 in January.
