Jack Hammer (born 11/10/63) wanders into Star World 9/8/98. Fresh out of prison (August 19), he wears his hair short and his glasses preppy. His body is covered with tattoos. Powerfully built and spoken, he embodies the industry's high testosterone masculinity. Jack has appeared in several editions of AVN for supposedly beating or threatening his porn star wife Sweetie Pie.

In the 4-98 AVN, he said that he became angry with his ex-wife that she had custody over his tanning bed, as well as his touch control washer and dryer, a computer system and a repossessed Nissan Pathfinder. Sweetie Pie taped their argument over the phone and gave it to Jack's parole officer who had him sent back to jail for violating parole.

"She boiled my blood," Hammer told the 4-98 AVN, "and I gave her a verbal lashing."

Around the same time, Jack sent a letter to the Guinness Book of World Records to suggest a new category: The Longest Male Human Semen Ejaculation measured in feet. His request, according to a spokesperson for Guinness Publishing, probably landed in the trash. (AVN 4-98)

Jack has launched law suits against California's penal system with which he's become intimately acquainted. Hammer is ticked that prison made him cut his hair short. "They just passed a law this year that all inmates in California's prison systems can have their hair no longer than three inches. The case law that they are using for this is from a correctional officer in the West, a Native American who didn't want to cut his hair. So they are using employee case law and not inmate case law to justify this new law.

"I'm one of the first persons to launch this suit, along with some Native Americans and black guys… They say that it is a security measure [requiring short hair]. I have case law from judges back East saying that security measures can only last three weeks. Plus, I also have case law that says that short hair makes it easier for a guy to escape. As soon as he gets over the fence, someone could be waiting there with a wig and makeup and beard… That's just as easy as cutting their hair off after they escape.

"This is all a game. They [CA's correction system] say that if you don't cut your hair, you are going to get more time added on to your sentence. I want $500,000."

Jack's next suit regards CA's parole jurisdiction. "There's a Board of Prison Terms (BPT) and a CA Department of Corrections (CDC). Each one handles their parolees separately. CDC handles indeterminant sentence inmates. BPT handles women, lifers and JCats (people who are psychotropic on medications).

"I was on parole for 15 months straight and clean. On the 13th month, you are supposed to be discharged. Since I was on CDC parole, BPT filed their paper work. And they [CA's penal system] used BPT paperwork to keep me longer in parole [status]. And so I've done two extra years on parole, two of those extra years were behind prison bars. That's a jurisdiction violation. My civil rights have been violated. I want $700,000.

"CA's penal system is corrupt. I discharged my CDC prison number in 1990. That means that I was no longer part of the CDC system. Eight months later, however, the parole department didn't even take my name off the computer. I got arrested for another crime. My name shows up as a parolee. Bam. Parole hold. No bail.

"CA has 33 prisons. And it's the most degrading bulls---. It's a money scam. CCOPA (California's Correction Officers union) is the biggest policing force in CA. They have so much power. They have 'f--- you' power. They can make you do what they want you to do.

"I'm writing a book - "California's Biggest Cancer - Every Taxpayer Has It."

"The CCOPA will say that we need more money for prisons because they suffered X number of injuries. The Correction Officer's injuries may not be from inmates. He might've f---ing fallen while he was walking down the road inside the prison. But they conflate the numbers from all injuries…

"We have an Inmate Welfare Fund. We donate money to charities. We put on pizza drives… Our money, the IWF, is being managed by the correctional system. They take our money and it is not determined when they have to pay us back. They bought police cars. They took loans from us to pay for parties for retiring correctional officers.

"I was a clerk [in prison]. I started as a regular Sergeant's clerk. Then a Lieutenant's Clerk, to Associate Warden's clerk. When paper work came across my desk, I took notes on another piece of paper. My book will say what happened on what dates."

Jack entered porn in the summer of 1995 after spending five years in jail (sentenced to seven years) for armed robbery. "I grabbed a bank full of money (1990?) from a guy about to deposit his money. I ran by, strong armed him, and took it. I started sprinting…with all these goody-two shoes after me. About $500,000. The getaway car was too far down the street. At the Union Bank building on Sepulveda and Ventura Blvd."

Rob Spallone pipes up with rude insulting comments throughout my conversation with Jack. "Tell him who you were married to,, Jack" booms Rob. "Luke is a good friend of mine."

Jack was married to porn star Sweetie Pie. "I hope she dies, of AIDS. She's a f---ing cunt."

Rob: "He's going to write that. Don't say nothing that will get you in trouble."

Jack: "She ripped me off. She stole all my property."

Rob: "He came to me, Luke."

Jack gets excited, speaking rapidly. "I can show you in the penal code book where it says that even if you are married, you have to get written permission from your spouse on a certified piece of paper before selling…"

Rob: "And he didn't listen to me and he went back to jail."

Jack: "She sold my $6000 tanning bed. She sold my $3000 washer-dryer. She had my truck repossessed. Everything gone. Then she set me up again and sent me back into jail for parole violation because I wouldn't give her any money. She knew that I was signing contracts to shoot in Mexico, Europe and stuff… She said, 'I want some money, you sonofabitch. You owe me money.'

"I said, 'f--- you, you stupid whore. If you keep f---ing with me, s---'s going to happen.' She recorded it. She gave it to the parole agent. And I just got home from doing another year in jail."

Luke: "You spent a year in jail because of that?"

Jack: "That's how easy it is… You could call right now [Jack's parole officer] and say that you had [Jack Hammer] Troy Mainwaring [Jack's real name] threaten to kill you. He's going to beat my f---ing ass… Next thing you know, my parole agent will be at my office…"

Rob booms: "Jack Hammer threatened to kill me."

Rob loves egging Jack on.

Rob: "What do you do?"

Jack: "Jack Hammer Entertainment. I do distribution [of porn]. I shoot videos.

"It's insecurity and jealousy that drives people in this business to do crazy things. With me and Sweetie Pie…"

Rob: "You love her. Don't tell me that you don't love her."

Jack: "Shut the camera off. I'm killing this bastard [Rob].

"Sweetie Pie and I were getting along fine. She sees that I'm getting recommended more and more."

Rob: "That you're doing all the work. Thanks to who, Jack? Thanks to who, Jack?"

Jack: "Nobody wants to hire her. Thanks to [Jim South's] World Modeling [Rob's competitor]."

Rob: "You blew it Jack."

Jack: "I'm doing four or five movies a day. She's getting jealous…"

Luke: "Did you smack her around?"

Rob: "A few times. Don't lie Jack."

Jack: "I didn't smack her around. I picked her up and threw her across the room into a couch. That was it."

Rob: "She landed nicely."

Luke: "Was she injured?"

Jack: "Hell no."

Rob: "Jack, that's a nice hair cut. Where did you get it? [prison]"

We talk about  "Chuck" Tony Martino who's been arrested twice for beating up his porn star girlfriends, Frankie Lane and Farrah.

Rob: "Chuck got arrested when Jack was f---ing him up the ass."

Jack: "Chuck beat the s--- out of Frankie Lane. He threw her out of the truck in Northridge Mall. I was living with him at the time. Then he beat the s--- out of Farrah and knocked her down the stairs."

Luke: "What about Shay Sweet?"

Jack: "He smacked the s--- out of her. Now Tony Eveready is at the Devonshire division right now. I'm helping him get an attorney. I don't like to see no one go to jail. There's always two sides to a story when you get into a fight with your old lady.

"I'm sick and tired of hearing about all this f---ing s--- about OJ [Simpson]. Didn't OJ f---ing beat the criminal charges? So get the f--- out of here. Everybody is overkill on the law. Everybody's got numbers [prison records] now.

"You see the judge. The judge says, 'why did you steal from the store? That's petty theft. You get 2,3, 7 [years in prison].' It should be: 'Why are you stealing? Is it because you can't get a job? What do you know how to do? I have a special bailiff right there who will help you get a job. You come back to my court in 90 days and you have a permit from that job and I'll erase this from your record.' That's the way it should be. Not, bam, you're going to prison. Cost the taxpayers $60-$70,000 a year. All this s--- is in my book."

Jack is enjoying his freedom after two years in prison for supposedly hurting Sweetie Pie.

"She [Sweetie Pie] got drunk with Patti Rhodes one night [in 1996] at our house. They're bisexual. They were so drunk that they were blacking out. They got into a fist fight. There was blood everywhere. I pulled them apart. Terri Rae [Sweetie Pie] was disturbed that the whole thing happened. She jumped into her BMW. I jumped in the window after her. She wanted to go to Patti's house to throw a brick through the window. I said, 'no, no, no. I'll go with you. Don't drive off drunk. We have [Sweetie's] two kids at the house. I'll feel bad if you get killed. Halfway down the street, I slam the car into park and say, 'let's go home. I'm on parole. You've got a drunk driving warrant. Let's go home.' She got out of the car screaming at 2AM. I'm trying to grab her. It looked like I was punching her. She already had blood on her from the house. They arrested me that night for spousal abuse.

"I beat the charges. Sweetie Pie and Patti testified for me in court. But the parole department didn't care that I beat the charges. They think they are above the law. They said, 'we think you're a liar, your wife is a liar, that Patti is a liar, that your attorney is liar, that your judge is a liar. We're giving you a year straight for parole violation.'

"And it clearly says in Title 15 code of regulations which is the CDC's rules, that if you have not been convicted of a crime, you have not violated parole.

"I used prison like a college. I was in the law library all the time. I looked up case law, penal codes… I read marketing books. I learned how to distribute to adult films companies. I even did some distributing [porn] from inside of prison.

"I made some connections for Russia and Colima, Mexico, where I will shoot in January. I have some connected friends in Russia that are politically connected…with family. I can shoot there whenever I want. I have carte blanche to shoot there."

Luke: "It's dangerous there."

Jack: "They have the Russian mob. And I have guys that I'm working with down in Mexico who are ex-federales agents [ex Mexican cops]. So I have carte blanche to go through there."

Luke: "How do you know these guys?"

Jack:: "You meet guys like that in prison. Not everyone is in their for murder… A lot of people made mistakes with taxes…"

Jack says his parents are proud of their son the porn star. "My mom loves it. I just got back from Las Vegas where I took my mom ten of my [pornographic] videos. My dad thinks it is the best thing.

"I've done everything. I have my Screen Actors Guild card. I came into this business because I did not have a big [mainstream] agent. I'm going all the way to the top in this business. After I'm making a $1 million a month, I want to go back into the regular film industry.

"My book should come out next summer. My friend is hooking me up with two producers. I want to do a major motion picture on the book. And get on Oprah's Book Club. I have seven years worth of scripts for a TV series about what goes on in prison."

Veteran blonde performer Jamie Leigh walks in with her baby.

"I come from a rich family. I wanted to go see what the wild life was. I left home at age 14."

Jamie: "Poor black child?"

Jack: "My brother is a Hells Angel. I grew up with bikers. Then I spent time at Juvenile Hall. I grew up with Mexican and black gang bangers. I have the best of all the worlds. I have lots of underground affiliates. If something needs to be done, I just have to call."

Luke: "Have you ever killed anyone?"

Jack: "I'm not going to say nothing about killing nobody. I'll plead the fifth on that. I've beat the s--- out of people, on porn sets even. People who pissed me off. I told them, 'please get out of my face. Shut up.' They were supposed to bring a certain girl to a set.

"Regan Senter brought this retarded chick. I said, 'what the f--- is this? I met this other girl at the Sin City interview. I want her.' He starts acting like a bitch… I smacked his cell phone across the room. He started screaming. Heidi Lane aka Gail Force jumped in front of me. I pushed her out of the way and I did a snap kick and busted his f---ing nose. f---ing piece of s---.

"I like respect. Give me some respect. I've never burned nobody. Don't play games with me.

"AVN's Mark Kernes wrote to me the whole time I was in prison, sending me stuff. I wrote an article of the AIDS-condoms issue. I want to see if he will put it in. I think it's a bunch of s---."

Rob explodes: "Yeah, another guy who agrees with me."

Jack: "When I was younger, I used to f--- all the whores. And I'd put a condom on… Why do I need an AIDS test if I'm wearing a condom?

"You know the girls in the business who do bachelor parties and blow dudes. You know what they do. They do drugs and lead a promiscuous lifestyle. So you don't f--- them. You shouldn't f--- the scumbag boys. You should a have a circle of people that you f---.

"All this media attention is ridiculous. They should not be allowed to come into our industry because they shunned us and dissed us for so long… They put out nothing positive about us.

"There was this article [4/98 in the LA Daily News] where councilwoman Laurie Chick praised us. She said, 'leave the porno people alone. They create jobs. They pay their taxes.' And everyone disrespects us. We've only had eight or so HIV cases in our industry.

"I bet you that everybody who talks s--- about us has either read or seen pornography. They're hypocrites."

Luke: "So what do you think the adult industry should do about HIV?"

Rob: "They should all get it and drop dead."

Jack: "You know who has what. You walk into a bar. You know who the whores are that you can pick up with some coke… Here's another set [of girls] who are going to take some finesse. Here's another set who will require a visa, a mastercard and a porsche and a house… Same way in the porn industry. You have your scum who f--- outside the business. You have your regular people who are just in it for the money. You have your hooty tooty Vivid girls…"

Rob: "What about your junkies?"

Jack: "People have to take responsibility for themselves. It's a privilege to talk to anybody in the business because we've been dissed so much. I saw this JD Ram guy on Fox news the other night, taking advantage of his 15 seconds of fame, saying that we should all wear condoms. He's a f---ing idiot. There should be a gag order unless you know what you are talking about.

"I've never seen this guy working since that interview. I'm on sets all the time. I use condoms if I have to, but if I have to use a condom I will f--- the s--- out of the girl. I will make her feel sorry that I had to use the condom.

"There are some companies that prefer condom use [VCA, Vivid] even if the talent does not want to use one."

Rob: "Was there anything different about prison this time than last time?"

Jack: "Yeah, I missed your f---ing big brown eye in my cell. What the f--- is wrong with you? Get your f---ing gun and shoot yourself."

Jack says he has a "different style of shooting because I've been in front of the big cameras, the motion picture cameras. I know my angles. I know what I want. I know how to edit in my head. I know everything. I want more style, more finesse. I'll do gonzo, but the editing, dissolves, the fades will be different."

Rob to Jamie Leigh: "Hi handsome. Are you going to cry a little today?"

Last time I saw Jamie, she was crying to Joe Spallone about how awful her boyfriend was. He'd destroyed her computer, etc… Today she says they're getting married.

"He was the asshole I was talking about last time," Jamie says with a smile. "He realized that I am an Italian woman and he decided that he shouldn't f--- with me."

Rob says that Jack is married to Chuck Martino.

Jack: "I'm going out with a paralegal. She's studying right now for her state bar exam to become an attorney. She works in Van Nuys for people who've been in business for 35 years. Her attorneys are picking up my cases for me."

Jack plans to start a mainstream production company under his real name Troy Dean Mainwaring. "I want to do stuff on society. I've got some bizarre projects like United Nations Prison 2000 where the United Nations takes all the world's inmates and puts them in a rotating satellite dish off the moon.

"I can't do drugs. Drugs do me. Once I do drugs, I'm f---ed."

Hammer says he comes from a rich English family. "My family has a coat of arms and a castle in England. My dad started a company in CA, a valve plate exchange for big compressors that run air conditioning for big places like malls."

Jack Hammer White Supremacist?

Jackie writes: "After your items on major video companies denying they are avoiding using Black male performers, I found it odd that Vivid Video has been using a White Supremacist in their videos. I believe he goes by the name of Jack Hammer. He was in the video "On the Street," which featured Devon. I have also seen him in another video where he was doing a woman on a pool table. He has black hair and is covered in tattoos. In the "On the Street," video his tattoos are harder to read than they were in the pool table scene in the other movie. I am sure you can get a list of the videos he has appeared in from Vivid. The tattoos include the anarchy symbol and the words "West End Punks'" on his chest. On his back, split on both sides is written "White Power." Most disturbing is the spider web tattoo on his elbow. In white power circles this tattoo means that you have killed someone of another race, religion or sexual persuasion. It is similar to the tears that are often tattooed onto the faces of gang members to represent the people they have killed. I am sure AVN will join you in your condemnation of this performer."

Mad Jack writes: "Do you KNOW Jack Hammer? Then how can you make a claim about what was on his mind when he got his tattoos. He happens to be a good friend of mine and one of the ONLY stand up mother f---ers I have the pleasure of knowing in this business. Most, if not all of his tattoos were done while spending time away from society, if you know what I mean. Whenever he's in Vegas, Jack stays at our home (my wife and I) and as everyone knows, my wife is black. Not something a true white supremacist would do, wouldn't you say. Jack is a stand up guy who speaks his mind and doesn't take s--- from those in the business who think they're something they're not. Having done my share of prison time, I can say that "white power" tattoos are not uncommon in the system. Most of the guys I ran with had the same art, but still cohabited with ALL races on a cordial basis. I'm wondering how you "know" so much about the meaning of these tattoos. The spider web, which you claim is "most disturbing," usually signifies that the bearer has been locked up and forgotten about for so long that they're sportong cob webs. It has nothing to do with killing, you idiot. Get your facts straight BEFORE you start making claims you know ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ABOUT!!! If you've watched Jack's scenes, I'm sure you saw that he f---ed like a champ, no matter who he was f---ing. He's a true professional in this business Jackie, so don't make snap judgments."

Jack Hammer left Luke this phone message at 12:40PM:

JH: "Hey man, Mad Jack read me some s--- from your website... You can tell f---ing lame lob [Jackie] that the only thing I am prejudiced against is ignorance, meaning people like him. I've been in this f---ing business over six f---ing years and I've f---ed more pretty black girls than the black dudes have. I admire women. I love black women. I love Mexican women. I love Spanish women. I love all the f---ing women and I am only prejudiced against ignorant fools like that f---ing lame that wrote about me. So tell him to find something else to do with his f---ing disrespective life... He must be jealous. He must be jealous that I get paid to get laid by beautiful women and he has to f---ing stroke to my videos and that's what he's probably pissed off about. He knows all my tattoos, my every mark, so he must be obsessed with me. He's probably a f---ing homo. So tell him to get off of it."

I grew up with Jack (Troy M) .. I also grew up with his brother Ron, his sister Tammy, and his biker friends, the biker gang was also known as the "wanna-be bikers" the hung at a roller skating rink in the San Fernando valley, I was around when he got the tats, there were nothing more than a image, not from killing, nor from jail...just from the influence of his "biker" friends...he was just one of the guys, did the same stuff as ail the other 16 year olds in town...its all bull shit...meant nothing, he hung with blacks, gays, and Spanish..His best friend Johnny was gay...I don't even recall him ever being in jail back then..he lived in Agoura (Not even close to being a ghetto) He was in my circle of friends back then for years. I know the real Troy, not at all the rough tough biker he portrays. Can't even recall him even getting into a fist fight back then.

I thought it was a funny to read all the "racist" stuff in the story. It's all BS.
