Though she comes from American-Indian, Spanish and Scottish ancestry, Tabitha mainly appears in black videos. She usually performs boy-girl scenes with her lover Jake Steed. Anthony Petkovich among others has tired of this "epdemic…a hot-looking bitch only f---ing her real-life boyfriend on film." Other such pairings included Kascha and Francois Papillon, Blondi Bee and Tony Montana, Heather Lere and Rob Tyler, Janette Littledove and Buck Adams, Danielle Rogers and Randy Spears, Misty Rain and Chad Thomas, Racquel Darrian and Derrick Lane, and Bridgitte Monet, Julia Ann and their boyfriends.

Tabtiha's best scenes come away from Jake - in John Leslie's Voyeur 5 and Fresh Meat: The Series. "John Leslie pays good money and he's nice. With sex scenes he's open; he doesn't tell you what to do. But with the dialogue and the acting, he's very picky. He tells you how he wants it. I like that. At least he's trying to make good movies."

Being typecast as black "makes it hard dancing on the road," says Tabitha, "because certain club owners think I'm black, and, since they have prejudices, I can't dance at their clubs.

"It's good to have a unique look. But I would've marketed myself better if I had known more. Then it would be easier for me to do both sides, black and white movies. Then they could see I've got a unique look that's whatever I want it to be - in dancing, movies, all other stuff. But a lot of people just say, 'Oh, that black girl Tabitha.'" After turning 18 years of age, she began stripping in clubs. While working at the Covergirl Studios in San Diego, Tabitha met Kelly O'Dell who sparked her interest in porn. Two months later, Tabitha registered with Jim South's World Modeling.

Since entering her relationship with Jake Steed, Tabitha has only performed sex on screen with him, but Jake works with other girls.
