All the women in Cheerleaders look overweight. Candida Royalle, Lisa DeLeeuw, Suzanne Nero and Debbie Evans appear about 140 pounds. "All of this is combined into much silliness with a locker and shower scene that is funnier than Debbie Does Dallas. DeLeeuw starred in 1981's Eight to Four. The story is patterned after Nine to Five.
