I interviewed Sasha, …before hand I had read her MySpace page and she came off as slightly pretentious. So I actually came ready to catch her slip, but she fielded questions, tried to catch her up on her supposed love of films (what 18 year old chick who enjoys taking it up the ass has a penchant for criterion dvds? Most the whores cannot even spell DVD) she handled it and came with it. a breath of fresh air. the bitch is chess. damn if I was not impressed. Not that I am an intellectual genius, but I credit myself with being smarter than a box of rocks, which, as we all know… Side note: I hate doing interviews, simply by the fact, most of these chics define themselves by their possessions, Cars, jewelry, nay “bling”, and little dogs. So my experience for The Insider was overall good. No, my mom did not try and make me quit over Thanksgiving, but of course they felt that was oh so dramatic, as you could tell by the smirk on my face. God I wanted to laugh so bad at some points. They used three tapes to record the two minute segment...sheeesh! Although I did have a problem with the initial interview when asked, are you scared to get hiv...my answer wasn't just,"no". It is a risk all performers take in this business, but our health system we have intact is adequate, not to mention a different blood test than your then the standard one. On the second segment that aired last night, when the "Dr." said, I hate to disagree with you because our testing is sometimes flawed...that's generalizing, we get tested once a month---not once a year where yes, if you don't catch it it could cause infertility. I don't want the public to think I don't have a clear idea about my profession, I take it seriously, and stds aren't something that should be brushed off the shoulder oh so lightly as they implied. The Insider was a lot less judgmental than Tyra, after all it's just ratings they are after! The theme for the Tyra segment is "Teens in the sex Trade" not a day in the life of...

Mark Spiegler And His Star Sasha Grey Both Sick
Mark's recovering from bronchitis. Porn's leading existentialist is on the injured reserve list. She came down with anal warts and requires medical treatment.

Folks, I'd like to point out a few things about Sasha's recent appearance on the "Tyra Banks Show." To wit:
1) Almost every word (and faux "emotion") that came out of Tyra's mouth on the show was read directly off of cue cards by Tyra Banks.
2) No one, including a senior writer at the AVN magazine, has any idea who this "Tiana" (the purported "pornstar") is.
3) Lastly, and perhaps most importantly, the segment where Sasha was allowed to rebut the assertions put forward by Tyra and "Tiana" was edited out of the show! You can read about the "creative" editing practices employed in this episode by the Tyra Banks Show staff right here.

Were you surprised when they asked you to speak at UCLA and how was the experience?
It most definitely was. I thought the experience would be a lot of fun and a breath of fresh air from the mainstream interviews I have done. The teacher's questions were the most interesting but a few of the students were stubborn and didn't like the simple black and white answers I gave them.
This whole Tyra Banks show amuses me. She has A LOT of porn stars on her show. Do you think she secretly wants to work in porn?
I don't think she wants to work in porn but she is definitely has a high interest in it. Yes, producers at Warner Brothers come up with show ideas, but nobody that is "disgusted" by porn that much would continue to do shows on the very subject.
Why do you feel the mainstream media still tries to put down the adult film industry?
That's a speculative question. There are many reasons. Really just pick an avenue of threat and follow it to its source. "They" are also ashamed of their sexuality and can't accept that people are sexual beings.
