NORTH HOLLYWOOD, Calif. Black Widow Talent President Ric Williams
congratulates Clear Talent Management and its owner, Lisa Ann, for completing
state licensing and bonding requirements for talent agencies.
The addition of Clear Talent Management brings the total number of
licensed and bonded adult talent agencies to four, joining Black Widow
Talent, LA Direct Models and Lighthouse Talent.
"The process of receiving a talent agent's license and being bonded
in California is not easy," Williams said. "However, the companies that
have taken the time to complete this procedure help to raise the professionalism
and creditability of the adult entertainment industry as a whole."
Williams, a former mainstream Hollywood talent manager and agent, emphasized
that licensed and bonded talent agencies are regulated by the state,
as are any agreements they enter into with the performers they represent.
The transparency of the licensed agencies benefits the talent and producers,
and the bonding process ensures the agency is financially solvent, he
said. "As the profile of the adult industry is raised, we must ensure
the days of fly-by-night operations are over," Williams said. "Companies
that are run above board, with proper licensing and that follow all
regulations pertaining to their industry will demonstrate to the public
at large that the members of this business are serious professionals
who deserve the same respect as any other members of the entertainment
trade."

Hi Luke, I dont know if you remember me but Joe
A passed you onto me quite some time ago (may he rest in peace)
where I was asked for my opinion about Black Widow Media.
The latest I know is several people and more that I dont know personally
are rallying together to bring this guy to task for ripping them off
by not paying dues owed for close onto a year now.
I hear he is poised to go bankrupt and that he has no money but yet
he still has the website up selling product. Product that doesnt belong
to him and yet he is putting it out on hotmovies, aebn, gamelink and
still saying he has no money to pay up.
If this guy did his books properly instead of robbing Peter to pay
Paul he wouldnt be in this position at all. Thing is, this sort of thing
doesnt inspire confidence dealing with people in this industry and I
understand full well why extreme methods are deployed in exacting retribution
to what we Brits call 'piss takers'.
I would just like to know what the state of play is in the US with
regards to this guy and his company and what the US authoritys stand
on this knowing that he hasnt got all his paperwork in order with regards
to the product he is selling.
Ric take heed. You are not untouchable. There are many ways to skin
a cat legally and get results. I would suggest you get in touch and
sort this out in an amenable and civil matter instead of being smug
behind the wheel of your brand new Mercedes....A nice purchase it is
too for someone on the brink of bankruptcy.
