AVN reports. 5/16/06 I interview Melissa Martinez. In porn for five months, she's done about 25 scenes. Before that, she was a stripper and wrestled nude in hot oil. Before that, she worked for over a year in retail (For Over 21). "I don't make a good stripper. I don't like asking guys if they want a lap dance. "I don't like 9-5 [regular jobs]. "I was a good student in highschool. I ended up with a 3.89 GPA. I just didn't go to college. I would love to. Right now, I have to settle some things out, move out on my own. Take care of myself and then jumb back into it. That's the good thing about porn. It's so easy to go to school, do [porn], and still make a decent living." Luke: "What do you love and hate about being in porn?" Melissa: "I hate that it's so repetitive. This is my first feature. I have a small part but it's still better than the gonzo. "I love sex. I love meeting new people every day." Luke: "How's your family reacted?" Melissa: "They don't know. My sister knows and my girlfriend knows but everybody else thinks I'm modeling. I eventually want to tell my family but not while I'm living at home. If I'm not under your roof, I can do what I want. It's hard not telling them. I hope they'll understand. For any parent, it's a shocker. It's a risk I'm willing to take." Luke: "What crowd did you hang out with in highschool?" Melissa: "I didn't hang out with anyone from highschool. Everyone I talked to was outside of highschool. I chose not to associate with people from my school." Luke: "Were you with the stoners?" Melissa laughs. "I still am. I'll never let them go." Luke: "When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?" Melissa: "I wanted to model. I wanted to do something in fashion. I hope that is still an accomplishment within reach." Melissa stands 5'5". Luke: "How would you compare porn to stripping and wrestling?" Melissa: "As stupid as it sounds, it's more of a career move than working at a strip club every day. You see girls doing lapdances to pay the bills and feed their kids and it's sad. Porn is an actual business and an actual career and I can see myself going somewhere, whether it be further in the porn business or in modeling. This way is easier for me to expose myself and exploit myself." Luke: "What are your favorite and least favorite parts of your body?" Melissa: "I've wanted to like my boobs, my small boobs. I've wanted a breast job of course. But being naked and hearing, 'They look nice on you. Don't get a boob job.' I've learned to like them and I think they're my favorite part now. "My least favorite is my butt because I don't have one. I need to work out. I need to do some squats or something." Luke: "How does it affect your love life?" Melissa: "It doesn't. I have a girlfriend. I've been with her for a year-and-a-half now. It's easier than having a boyfriend. She shot with me once. Other than that, she's not in the business." Melissa works with guys on camera. "I've only done one or two girl-girl scenes in the business."
