Judy Sweeney's Lawsuit Against Darren Roberts, AVN

Here are some highlights of the lawsuit filed June 9, 2005:

Plaintiff Judy Sweeney...was fired soon after disclosing her pregnancy, and shortly after complaining to Human Resources about hostile treatment by her boss [Darren Roberts] once she let him know she was pregnant. Plaintiff is African-American.

10. Plaintiff worked for AVN until May 2004 when she was wrongfully terminated.

14. As soon as plaintiff told Roberts about her pregnancy, his attitude toward her changed dramatically. He told her that he "bet she would not come back to work" after having the baby. He began demanding that she work long overtime hours. He became noticeably cool and even hostile in his treatment of the plaintiff.
