We spoke by phone 3/10/03.

Luke: "How did you get into the industry?"

Ciera, in her home state of Washington: "In September 2002, I had a girlfriend that was in the industry. Ryan Conner. We had a mutual friend. After she took a look at me, Ryan decided she would help me. After that, I decided I would go it on my own. I wanted to do a lot.

"I've done some dancing, some private bachelor parties.

"I did a solo shoot and a girl-girl shoot with Ryan. She set me up with other people.

"I went to the AVN Expo [in Las Vegas in January 2003]. I went to Adultcon in November [2002]. I'm not used to the traffic in LA. It takes a long time to drive from one place to another.

"I did my first boy-girl scene with Jay Ashley for Elegant Angel's Slave Dolls. I liked the sex. It was really hard. I love sex that's hard. I did another scene for Dane Productions.

"I don't want to move to LA. I just want to come down monthly for about a week at a time."

Luke: "Did you ever get breast implants?"

Ciera: "Yes I did, last April. I went from a 34B to a 34C-26-36. I love 'em. They're soft and perky. I'm 5'7" and I weigh 127 pounds."

Luke: "What are your ambitions in the industry?"

Ciera: "I just want to have a lot of fun. I want to get known. I just want to have fun and go along. I didn't get into the business. I just like sex."

Luke: "How did you ever conceive of getting into this industry?"

Ciera: "I'm not sure. I've never thought about that."

Luke: "Did you ever think about it in high school?"

Ciera: "I did. I thought about dancing. I wanted to feature. I think that would be really fun to be the center of attention up there on stage. I love dancing. Just to get the whole crowd going."

Luke: "Has being in this industry changed your view of men?"

Ciera: "Not at all. It would take a lot to change my view of men. I'm bisexual.

"I lost my virginity at age 16. My first time with a girl was when I was 18. I was a late starter. All my friends lost their virginity early in life. I was one of the latest."

Luke: "What sort of a clique did you hang out with in high school? Were you a cheerleader?"

Ciera: "No, I wasn't. I was more of a loner. I wasn't involved with the popular crowd because I didn't like their view on life. You had to be in with them or they weren't your friends. I do my own thing. A lot of my friends don't agree with what I do but I can't let them control what I enjoy doing."

Luke: "How does your family feel?"

Ciera: "My father passed away about three years ago but my mother says go for it. She tells me, yeah, if I had the body, I'd do it. She goes, oh yeah, I'd be there with you. We should do a mother and daughter thing.

"I talked to her before I did anything and she told me to go for it.

"I have two brothers. One older brother, we were talking about doing some incest together. We were joking around about it. I don't know if we would really do that."

Luke: "Have you ever done that in your private life?"

Ciera: "No. But we were talking about it."

Luke: "Is incest common in rural Washington?"

Ciera: "No. I don't think I'd be up to doing that."

Luke: "And your younger brother?"

Ciera: "I've never sat down and talked to him about anything. He doesn't have a mind on his shoulders."

Luke: "And when you lost your virginity, it wasn't to a family member?"

Ciera: "No."

Luke: "Have you had any bad experiences in the industry?"

Ciera: "No. Everyone's been nice. I like it a little rough. I had a boyfriend who liked it rough and he'd tease me and grab my throat and I thought it was fun."

Luke: "What sort of work do you do when you are not working in this industry?"

Ciera: "I just do my own thing. I don't do a lot of work."

Luke: "Do you watch soap operas?"

Ciera: "Yes I do. Is that funny?"

Luke: "Yes."

Ciera: "Do you watch soap operas?"

Luke: "No."

Ciera: "Why not?"

Luke: "Because I am a man and men don't do that."

Ciera: "I know a few that do."

Luke: "They're not manly men."

Ciera: "I mostly hang out with my friends and pay bills and get normal stuff done. The grown-up stuff."

Luke: "You can do a few scenes and then you don't have to work for six weeks?"

Ciera: "Right. I don't have a lot of bills."

Luke: "What about from your drug pusher?"

Ciera: "From my what?"

Luke: "From your drug pusher."

Ciera: "I don't do drugs. I've done done them in my life and I never will. I had ex-boyfriends who used to do it but I was never involved with it.

"I don't care if others do it but I don't want to be involved with it. Anybody can do it around me and I'm fine."

Luke: "Did you enjoy yourself at the AVN Expo?"

Ciera: "Oh yeah. I partied hard and was dead for about four months afterwards. I was exhausted. I worked with a few people while I was there - Rodney Moore, Brandon Iron. Mostly I sat at the booth and signed for Dane Productions."

Luke: "There are these interesting photos of you on rame.net with braces and sunglasses."

Ciera: "Yes, I have braces. They're clear ones. Everyone thought I glued on my braces at the AVN because I was trying for the little-girl look. But they are real."
