Luke: "What do you do when you're not in school?"
Mike, who gets nervous talking to me: "I go to school and do..."

Mike: "Miscellaneous things."
Luke: "Sell drugs."
He laughs.
Luke: "What are you studying at school? Getting your GED?"
Mike: "Associates Degree."
Luke: "When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?"
Mike: "It's kinda blurry, but I've always loved porn."
Luke: "Why is it blurry? Were you on drugs?"
Mike laughs. "That's why I'm called Mike Hash."
Luke: "What were you doing between 18 - 24?"
Mike: "I was working at a hotel at the front desk and I was doing technical support for computers and going to school."
Luke: "How do you think drugs have affected you?"
Mike gets nervous. Ryan tells me to cool it.
Luke: "What kind of crowd did you hang out with in highschool?"
Mike: "Goody goody guys. Guys who went to church."
Luke: "Were you a church-going guy?"
Mike: "No."
Luke: "Why were you hanging out with church-going people?"
Mike: "Because they were cool. They liked the kind of stuff I did."
Luke: "Jesus Christ?"
Mike laughs.
He grew up in Utah. Much of his family is Mormon.
Luke: "How does your family feel about your participation in porn?"
Mike: "None too happy. I haven't told my parents."
Luke: "What do you love and what do you hate about the porn industry?"
Ryan: "Take it easy on the guy."
Mike: "Yeah."
Luke: "I am."
Mike: "I love the ladies who are willing to have sex with anybody. What I hate about is directors who are greedy, girls who aren't having a good time. Some girls who are in the industry aren't really sexual. They don't really belong. People with bad attitudes."
Luke: "How's it affected your dating life?"
Mike: "It's screwed it up pretty bad. No girl wants to date a guy who does porn. Who would? Either you lie to the girl or you be honest and take a chance. Sometimes they will just want to have sex with you. Because you do porn, they want to see what you're like. A lot of times it's a temporary relationship."
Luke: "Why did you choose porn over having a relationship?"
Mike: "Because I'm a sex addict. Relationships are hard for me. They never work out. In the end, I always get hurt. They last a year or so and that's it."
Luke: "What are your ambitions?"
Mike: "I want to do good in school. I want to transfer to a good college, such as UCLA. My GPA is 3.3."
