Kenny Carolina (production manager) and Ron Sullivan (director/cameraman) arrived on set at 9:30 am. The first scene was scheduled for 10am. I get there at 10:20. There's no talent.

Rob calls Lisa Marie and leaves a message. But he doesn't hang up the phone right. On her answer machine, Lisa got to hear a member of Rob's crew trashing her. This guy says she doesn't show up half the time and they shouldn't book her. Ron Sullivan defends her. Upon hearing this, Lisa feels like turning around and heading home. But she shows up to the set anyway and doesn't mention to the crew that she heard them trash talk her.

"I'm not in this business to make friends," is Lisa's attitude. She believes that if you are going to talk trash about someone, you should hang up the phone right.

Lisa and her ex-boyfriend Tommy X were drug addicts. They were leaving in their car. They had a bad car accident. They were desperate. Lisa and Tommy leafed through the LA Weekly for models wanted. She saw one for World Modeling. Next day (10/20/02) she was doing her first porno. "Ohmigod, look at this check I got."

Tommy was Lisa's second lover but first love. They broke up in January 2004 around the time of Lisa's birthday.

Rob is happy that Sopornos 8 got four stars from AVN and praise for his performance.

Rob boasts that he bought a brand new BMW when he was 17.

"But you were a coke dealer," says Ron.

Thursday Rob goes to the funeral of Russ Hampshire's wife Betty's sister's daughter.

Kenny is so depressed by the election results that he's contemplating shooting heroin. Though it is still in the AM, Bill Diehl (still photographer) sips on a cold beer.

Ron: "I don't like to drink until noon. It must be noon somewhere."

I drive to McDonalds with Rob. He orders ten hamburgers for the cast and crew. He variously describes the help and the people passing by as "fat," "gooks" and the like.

Back on the set, Rob removes two of the buns, makes his burger a double and Atkins-friendly.

I hear that blonde porn star Holly from England is marrying an American guy Saturday so she can stay in the country. She paid him $10,000.

Her mother calls the house looking for her. We don't tell her what her daughter is probably out doing today.

People are scared that he might come to a set and kill everybody if she is on it. I say that I want to interview said performer. I'm looked at as though I'm crazy. But I just want the scoop.

I walked into the home of John Douglas aka press release publisher Saturday night. He gets into Halloween. His front yard was covered with skulls.

"Are you making a snuff film?" I ask.

"Yeah," he said. "That's why I invited you. You know much I could get from Hustler for that?"

I hear that ex-porn star Tiffany Million graduated from the Nick Harris Academy for private detectives two years ago and has a Yahoo group under her real name, something like Sandra_Margot_PI.

On the other hand, a PI named Robert Gomez began investigating the porn industry for clients and ended up as a porn director. Not sure of his porn name.

A French journalist who's written extensively about porn, Emmanuelle Richard, is now in training (three month course followed by a licensing test) to become a PI.

I wonder why I haven't run into many East European girls on set in the past two years. I learn that it is because American pornographers fly over to Europe to shoot. So there's no need for them to come here.
