DP Tonight 6/10
2003-06-10 20:55:37
It was Wicked night on DP Tonight with Wicked girls
Stormy, Kaylani Lei and Sydney Steele appearing on the show with Digital
Playground contract girls Devon and Jesse Jane.
There's no Virgin Vixen on tonight's show because of a dispute between
Roy Garcia and Wicked. Wicked owner Steve Orenstein didn't pay Roy any
fee to Roy for signing his girl Kaylani Lei. So Roy boycotted tonight's
show.
Jesse Jane shows up at 6:40. Devon ten minutes later. Show begins at 7PM.
Stormy and Sydney Steele are on hand.
Stormy says she won't talk to me because I'm a gossip. But she reads my
site most every day.
Stormy comes on at 7:12PM.
Stormy and other Wicked girls were scheduled to come on the show a couple
of months ago but Wicked owner Steve Orenstein pulled them because he
didn't want them appearing with Belladonna, who put the industry in a
bad light on the ABC TV Primetime show.
Before that, however, Devon withdrew from hosting that show, because she
was feeling sensitive about her break-up with Barret Blade, and how he
did every girl on the Island Fever 2 shoot including Stormy, a friend
of his.
Tonight however Devon had no problem welcoming Stormy to the show and
the three girls got along great.
Devon laughs about how Barrett did every girl on Island Fever 2 and she
has a chagrined look on her face.
7:35PM: Wicked Pictures PR guy Daniel Metcalf walks in with new asian
contract girl Kaylani Lei.
Sydney Steele replaces Stormy on the couch.
Devon says her new boyfriend is taking her to the Caymen Islands. She
won't name him but I will - it's Kevin Beech, owner of KBeech Video, Erotic
Angel and Midnight Video. He's connected.
Devon says she doesn't read emails out loud on the show that are disrespecful.
Robby emails that he is 23-years old with cancer and only has five days
to live. He wants Devon to perform an obscene act. Everybody laughs at
him.
Sydney Steele says her ex-husband [Michael Raven] is getting married in
a couple of weeks [to fellow Wicked contract girl Julia Ann].
Buttman emails: "I'm too embarrassed to ask my girlfriend. Do you think
it is gross for a guy to want to have something in his rear while we have
sex? Sometimes I want it so bad I can't finish... How do I tell her?"
Devon: "A lot of guys want something in their rear during sex. My ex-fiance
[Barrett Blade]."
Studio erupts.
Devon: "He always wanted me to put a finger in his butt. And I don't want
to put a finger in a hairy hole."
Sydney leaves around 8PM and Kaylani comes on. She chews gum throughout
her appearance.
I finally convince Stormy to talk to me. I ask her what she's reading.
She says I always ask her that. It's a smart question for a smart girl.
Well, she was smart till she entered porn. She doesn't read books anymore.
She's busy writing. She's written five scripts for Wicked. She keeps a
diary - online at www.stormyxxx.com.
Stormy doesn't seem to have any enemies in the business.
She says she's constantly recognized by McDonalds employees.
Stormy cried when she learned David Crawford had been fired because David
pushed hard for Wicked to sign her as a contract girl.
Devon mispronounces Kaylani's name three times.
It's a restrained show tonight because Wicked girls behave themselves
in public. I've never known any of them to behave stupidly in public.

It's weird that Tera Patrick would file for bankruptcy when she had tens
of thousands of dollars in the bank a month before filing.
Gil writes: The reason for the filing is that under the US bankruptcy
court, all contracts can become voidable.
This means that TP can erase the terms of all the terms in the "contract"
with DP. This requires the renegotiation of all royalty agreements.
This effectively crushes all of DP's claims- no contract=no control.
Hats off to Tera's legal team- this is smart lawyering.

From avn.com: "We at Digital Playground have taken the position that the
former Tera Patrick cannot compete with Digital Playground until expiration
of its exclusive personal services agreement with [Patrick] on January
15, 2007, and that it is the owner of the name 'Tera Patrick'," said Digital
Playground in a statement released exclusively to AVN.
"In denying our application, the Court expressly stated that the denial
was without prejudice and on a temporary basis, and that it appeared that
[Patrick] was in breach of her contract," the statement continued. " The
Court has scheduled another hearing on this matter to take place on October
7, 2003, for the purpose of re-examining the Court's analysis, and to
review the progress of the arbitration and the status of [Patrick's] current
bankruptcy proceeding. Ultimately, Digital Playground's right to permanent
injunctive relief will be decided at the pending arbitration. "
